The effect of Spinalstabilization method according to the 1A course for changing defective deportment of 10 to 15 years old children
JÍRŮ, Markéta
This bachelor thesis is focused on poor body posture among children between the age of 10 and 15 and possibility to influence this instability with the help of Spiral stabilization method according to 1A course. This is a stabilization exercises of muscle spiral chains with elastic cords. Poor posture problems arise on the basis of imbalance between muscle groups. In case of children today, this is caused mostly due to lack of physical activities and too much time spent by sitting at televisions or computers. It is the lack of physical activity which leads to atrophy of muscles which are important for correct body posture. Another risk factors which cause poor body posture are wrong stereotyp movements, overloading muscle groups, long standing, incorrect sitting, taking an unnatural position for too long, wrong furniture (wrong chair, mattress etc.), unilaterally focused movement activities etc. Even wrong regimen can influence the emergence of poor posture. For example lack of sleep or bad eating habbits which can cause obesity. Spine, shoulder girdle and lower limps anatomy and kinesiology is desctribed in theoretical part. In the next part, muscle imbalance concept, poor body posture and posture term in general are explained. The third chapter is specifically focused on Spiral stabilization method, on its general regularities, principles, main spiral strings etc. The last section of theoretical part belongs to other methods which can be also applied during poor body posture treatment. The first goal of the work was to map physiotherapy options among children between the age of 10 and 15. The second goal was to find out if and what influence the regular exercising using Spiral stabilization method according to 1A course would have among these children. For the practical part, quality research method was chosen. Data were collected along with anamnesis from both parents and children by interview. Furthermore, initial and exit kinesiological examinations were carried out. Respondent´s parents were also asked for filling in informed consent. The bachelor thesis can be used for both professional and general public as informative and educational material about poor body posture and Spiral stabilization of the spine and its practical use.
