Freund, Miroslav ; Holubová, Markéta (advisor) ; Nosek, Bedřich (referee)
The work "Conception of a Human Share in The Book of Qohelet" deals with the meaning of human fate as described by the Biblical book Qohelet. In the first chapter it pursues the concept of man from the point of view of the Bible and Rabbinical Judaism. The second deals with the general characteristics of the book. I focused primarily on characterizing the genre and questions regarding the authorship and origin of the work, I outline the fundamental themes and motives of the book as well as its inclusion into the Biblical canon. The third chapter describes in greater detail the main theme of Qohelet in light of traditional Judaism. The fourth deals with the general content of the work. In the fifth is submitted an illustration of the rabbinical interpretation of chosen passages of the text dealing with the fate of man. The sixth chapter is devoted to personal thoughts and a summary of fundamental thoughts that run through the entire work.
