Nursing process in a woman with monochorionic twin pregnancy.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is monochorionic twin pregnancy. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part briefly introduces different types of twins. Then it concerns itself with monochorionic twin pregnancy ̶ with prenatal care, typical complications and risks related to this type of pregnancy and also with timing and conduction of labour. In the practical part of this thesis, we are presented with a case study of monochorionic diamniotic twin pregnancy complicated by twin to twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS). The case study contains basic identification of the pregnant woman, her medical history, a description of her hospital stay and a nursing plan for the pregnant woman. The objective of this thesis is to comprehensively describe monochorionic twin pregnancy. The practical part then aims to illustrate the hospital care and the execution of a nursing plan on a case study of a woman diagnosed with monochorionic twin pregnancy. The nursing plan is executed in line with the Gordon's functional health patterns model. This thesis is intended for midwifery students and midwives interested in this matter. Short-term foster care - a chance for unwanted newborn.

The thesis gives comprehensive information on the issue of unwanted pregnancy, which is closely related with the system of substitute child care. The key theme of thesis is temporary foster care, representing substitute family care as an alternative to institutional care. It is short- term form of care, which is usable with children, who are likely to be placed in some form of permanent care. Those children could be returned to their biological family, or could be adopted by surrogate parents. In theoretical part of thesis it is also shown an influence of foster care on psychomotor and emotional development of child. Thus, influence of institutional care or family care on the future life of unwanted children. The aim of thesis was to find out, either or not the temporary foster care brings child benefits or traumas. The practical part consists of casuistry of boy, unwanted by his mother, who was entrusted to temporary foster care for the couple of months. The information is based on court's files, medical reports, interviews with foster parents and adoptive parents, and boy's visits in both families. The results of observation of child's development in substitute care are compared with the relevant literature and with results of child's medical examinations performed during the temporary foster...
Nursing care about women with multiple pregnancy

This bachelor thesis is aiming on multiple pregnancy problematic. The document has two parts, the theoretical and practical one. Introduction chapter in theoretical part, is focusing on epidemiology and creation of multiple pregnancy, I continue with prenatal care and diagnostic, which is targeting on ultrasound, screening, invasive examination and schedule of prenatal care. The next theme is problematic of risks and complications within multiple pregnancy, which may occur in multiple gravidity. At the end of theoretical part I describing managing of twins labour and multiples. In practical part I am dealing with nursing procedure of woman with multiple pregnancy, where I analysing specific case. In this thesis is detailed processed nursing procedure, which is integral part of nursing care. Output of my bachelor thesis is recommendation for practice, given to the all midwives. Nursing care of the women with imminent premature labour

The bachelor thesis focuses on the problem of premature labour and the nursing care of the woman at risk of premature labour. The thesis consists of a theoretical and clinical part. In the introduction of this work, the progress of pregnancy, causes, risks, diagnosis and the therapy of premature labour and the characteristics of premature newborns are described. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on the psychology of pregnant woman with imminent premature labour. The clinical part is done in the form of case reports and the method of the nursing process according to Marjory Gordon for its processing is used. The study also deals with the emergence of the nursing process, its history and determining nursing diagnoses. The characteristics of the nursing model of health and domains used in this study is also described. In the casuistry, the history of the pregnant woman, the course of hospitalization and the assessment of current and potential nursing diagnoses are mentioned. Nursing process in a woman diagnosed with intrauterine growth restriction of the fetus.

Intrauterine growth retardation represents the great risk for proper development of the fetus. An early diagnosis which is determined by several ultrasound bioemtrics of the fetus in relation to gestational age is very important. It i salso important to distinguish the terms IUGR and SGA. The term SGA denotes the fetus whose weight is bellow the reference limit in relation to gestational age. This limit is usually less than 10th percentile. The term IUGR indicates the pathological proces that affects the growth and development of the fetus. A number of factors are know to lead to intrauterine growth retardation by the mother and the fetus. In theoretical part I will focus on definition, classification, etiology, prevalence, right diagnosis and therapy. Shortly I will mention the management of the IUGR fetus chilbirth. In practical part I will present a case history of a woman with the severe intrauterine growth retardation of the fetus who was admitted to a high-risk pregnancy ward. The pregnancy was terminated by a ceaserean section for pathological flow. Part of the practical part i salso the elaboration of a nursering plan based on the nursering plan according to Gordon. Nursing care about woman with diagnosis fetus mortuus in delivery room.

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of dead fetus. The thesis has a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the terminology distinguishing birth and abortion, delivery of a dead fetus including the appropriate use of epidural analgesia are analyzed in individual chapters. I also deal with psychological issues that occur during childbirth. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to social and legal support. The practical part is devoted to cases from the birth hall, where I analyze a particular case from the delivery room. The main emphasis is placed on the importance of the nursing process in the care of a woman with a suitable determination of nursing diagnoses and their complete realization. The output of my bachelor thesis is a recommendation for a practice devoted. The work as a whole is intended for midwives and midwifery students. Female Sexual Needs during Pregnancy

This presented Bachelor thesis deals with the female sexual needs during pregnancy. Given the focus of the thesis, in the theoretical part is described the sexuality of the woman, the sexuality during pregnancy period and here is also found the history of human sexuality and the history of sex during pregnancy. The practical part is devoted to research. In total, four goals were set. The first objective was to find out if pregnancy had an effect on women's sexual needs, the second was to find out whether sexual life was changing during pregnancy, and third and fourth targets focused on informing women about sexuality during pregnancy and about the sources of information. On the basis of the objectives set, research questions were selected. A method of qualitative research was chosen to elaborate the research part. Data collection was conducted using semi-structured interviews with women within five years of delivery. The research sample consisted of ten women and the interview contained ten open questions. The obtained data were analyzed by the hand-coded method, paper and pencil. The results of research have shown that sexual appetite changes during pregnancy. Changes in frequency of sexual activities correspond to these appetite changes. The unsatisfactory result has emerged from testimonies...
