Holubová Šmejkalová, A. ; Ždímal, Vladimír ; Váňa, M. ; Klánová, J. ; Dvorská, Alice
Research infrastructure ACTRIS-CZ was adopted on the Czech national roadmap of reaserch infrastructures in 2016. Its coreforms a co-located station Košetice-Křešín u Pacova and special equipment from collaborating partner institutions. Research infrastructure ACTRIS-CZ is focused on atmospheric research, especially on atmospheric aerosol, reactive gases and meteorological parameters.

The use of cluster analysis to evaluation half-year measurement campaign of gaseous elemental mercury from atmospheric station Křešín u Pacova
Veselik, P. ; Dvorská, Alice
This paper deals with evaluation of gaseous elemental mercury in the air from Atmospheric Station Křešín u Pacova. The measurements were conducted with two identical instruments positioned right next to each other in one ground-based container in a 10 min time step, between December 2012 and June 2013. This measurement campaign was aggregated into approximately weekly intervals. The aim of this paper is to show the use of cluster analysis for finding those time periods which correspond the most according to appropriately selected criteria. Classification was performed by using cluster analysis of regression coefficients obtained by modelling weekly measurements by the second device on the measurements from the first device. Results of this analysis indicate the existence of five periods in which the regression lines show certain similarities. Further attention is paid to their analysis.
Method for validation of tropospheric ozone concentrations in ambient air continuously measured at atmospheric station Křešín u Pacova
Mikušková, Martina ; Komínková, Kateřina ; Dvorská, Alice ; Hanuš, Vlastimil
Tropospheric ozone concentrations are measured at three height levels of 250 m high meteorological mast at atmospheric station Křešín u Pacova. In order to get a correct evaluation of the collected concentration data it is necessary to ensure the highest quality during their measurement, validation and storage. The following text presents a method for validation of measurements of minute concentrations from individual heights.
Equipment for continuous collection, correction, and distribution of air samples for evaluation of greenhouse gases at the Atmospheric Station Křešín u Pacova
Hanuš, Vlastimil ; Dvorská, Alice
The Atmospheric Station Křešín u Pacova is focused mainly on research and monitoring of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. The station was built and equipped according to recommendations of international monitoring network ICOS. The concentration of greenhouse gases is measured continuously at 4 different heights of 250 m tall meteorological mast that is the main part of the station.
Continuous monitoring, data validation and contribution to international databases - the example of the Atmospheric Station Kresin u Pacova
Dvorská, Alice ; Hanuš, Vlastimil ; Komínková, Kateřina ; Holubová Šmejkalová, Adéla
Data from the Atmospheric Station Křešín u Pacova are or will be in close future sent to international and national monitoring and research projects and programmes. When starting the station´s broad range monitoring activities it is necessary to have a well-elaborated method for ensuring high quality measurements.
Statistical Evaluation of Atmospheric Mercury Measurements Conducted in Parallel with Two Identical Instruments
Veselík, P. ; Dvorská, Alice ; Michálek, J.
At the Atmospheric Station Křešín u Pacova, central Czech Republic, total gaseous mercury was measured in background ambient air with two automatic mercury TEKRAN 2537B analyzers positioned right next to each other in one container. The measurements were conducted with a 10 min time step, between December 2012 and August 2013. The aim of the study was to confirm or exclude the hypothesis of same measurement results provided by the instruments. Measured data were aggregated into 1 week subsets and statistically analysed. The data was graphically visualised and evaluated by using exploratory data analysis. For comparing the performance of both instruments nonparametric statistical analysis (Wilcoxon matched pairs test) was used. The performed analysis shows statistically significant differences between measurements from the two instruments.
Monitoring and research activities at the atmospheric station Křešín u Pacova
Dvorská, Alice ; Váňa, M. ; Pavelka, Marian ; Hanuš, Vlastimil
The atmospheric station Křešín u Pacova will serve as a national monitoring point of measurements of greenhouse gases and selected atmospheric pollutants, their long-range transport and also basic meteorological characteristics. The presentation describes the measurement list intended for the station and possibilities of scienfic interpretation of the data.
