The Block of Flats

The subject of the bachelor´s thesis is the design of apartment building in Uherský Brod. The block of flats is design as a detached structure, with a partial basement and four floors, which are connected by a two-armed staircase and ane levator. The floor plan of the house is rectangular. In the basement, there are a cellars, a drying room and a technical room. The block of flats has a total of 10 residential units. On the first floor and on the fourth floor there are two apartments. On the second floor and on the third floor there are three apartments. In front of the building there is a parking. The construction system of the building is a wall made of Heluz ceramic blocks. The horizontal supporting structures are include POT beams and Heluz Miako inserts. The building is based on foundation strips and covered with a single-layer flat roof.
