Battery management systems for mobile robotics
Brabenec, Petr ; Mašek, Petr (referee) ; Hrbáček, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is research study of systems mainly used for monitoring, charging and balancing of battery packs – Battery Management Systems (BMS). These systems are necessary for reliable service of vehicles with electric drive and battery power. Study is aimed mainly on BMS used with LiFePO4 cells.
Construction of comparison measuregauge for measurement of tools.
Brabenec, Petr ; Dočkal, Aleš (referee) ; Ždímal, Pavel (advisor)
This work is about construction of a comparison gauge to meausure revolving tools. The gauge measures cutting and clamping parts of standard and special reamers. The gauge is unique and is designed for a company manufacturing concerete. It was designed in accordance with requirements and a prototype was tested for functionality. There is made analysis, development, design, theoretic estimation and practical verification of accurancy.
Assessment of dairy management in a given farm
BRABENEC, Petr
My diploma thesis is based on the observation of dairy cows nutrition at the farm, nutrition is the most important factor in the production of milk. The introduction of my thesis is focused on a literary overview, which briefly describes the process of digestion, evaluation of nutrients in feed doses and assessment of mixed feed doses. Attention is focused on feed technology in the farm, there was evaluated the intake of dry matter by dairy cows. Dairy cows were fed by total mixed ration (TMR), samples were sent for evaluation to an accredited laboratory and compared to NRC (2001). Another criterion was the evaluation of the particle structure by the Penn state separator (2002), the results were compared with the recommended standard, there was evaluated the homogeneity of the mixed feed structure too. The thesis evaluate composition of the feed ration, where maize silage is predominanting, there is described the variability of starch in maize silage in the monitored period. The thesis describes the evaluation of ungraded starch from bovine feces, samples were again analyzed in an accredited laboratory and evaluated according to the recommended standard, and the probable causes of increased content of unstressed starch in beef excrement are described. Some of the milk production indicators are also mentioned. There was used the informations of Czech and foreign authors.

Basic aspects of conservation maize by silage process
BRABENEC, Petr
The aim of the bachelor thesis was evaluation of the maize silage production as the most often representive part of cow feed. The introductory part of the thesis were focused on basic information about maize, it´s origin, importance and general description. The following part of the thesis was focused on silage process focusing mikroorganisms and fermenation process. Therre is also describtion of these organisms as positive as negative acting on silage process with posibility to aply some various aditives. An interesting part of the thesis is appretiation of growned hybrids and their benefits and cons with focusing on qualitative and quantitative values. One of the most important part of the thesis is technological describtion of silage production. In this part of the thesis were mentioned individual section of the technological processing of materiál, variety of methods used in silage processing and some recommendation, whith should be followed by farmers. The information used thorough the thesis was obtained from publication of Czech as well as foreign authors and the carefully were described problems of the established theme.
