The Role of DPRK in the Field of Contemporary International Relations (on the Basis of the Aspect of Juche Ideology)

The thesis introduces the Juche ideology and examines its impact on the North Korean regime. The main objective is to evaluate the role of the DPRK in the system of international relations, with regard to the Juche ideology. Due to the fact that in the DPRK and the mutual relations with other countries, it is very difficult to find a direct link with the ideas of proclaimed ideology, the main characteristics for a given pair of countries is emphasised. Mutual relations with five countries, which are articipating in the six-party talks with DPRK(the disarmament process is discussed in a separate section of thesis) are commented on. The role of the European Union is mentioned, because in the future, the EU could happen for several reasons, an important partner for the DPRK.

Globalisation and Developing Countries

The thesis examines the impacts of globalisation on the spheres of economy, politics and culture of the developing world, in the sense of understanding globalisation as interconnecting the civilisational, regulatory and spiritual human constructs into a global system. This scheme is extended to the environmental dimension as a reflection of the conflict between the global system created by man and the pre-existent and superior global system of the ecosphere. In each dimension, the aim is to identify the particular impacts of globalisation on developing countries considering the positive or negative influences on their situation and problems.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the political situation in south-african Zimbabwe and its reasons and consequences. It is focused on the governance of president Robert Mugabe,his ruling party, ZANU-PF, and their influence on miserable economic situation in the country that suffers from the highest infaliton rate in the world.

Chile and Integration of the Latin America

Thesis briefly mentions history of Chile and introduces three efforts for regional integration - Free Trade Area of the Americas, Andean Community of Nations and Mercosur. In next chapters, bilateral relations of Chile to four other countries are described, namely relations to its neighbours (Argentina, Bolivia and Peru) and to Brazil as a largest economy of the Latin America. The goal of the work is to analyse an effort of Chile for regional integration.

Diplomová práca na základe rozboru systému islámskeho učenia posudzuje do akej miery sú v isláme predpoklady pre rozvinutie fenoménu samovražedných atentátnikov. Vyhodnocuje samovražedný atentát a hodnotí predpoklady jeho vzniku v princípoch islámu. Práca hodnotí paralelu medzi islámom a kresťanstvom. Zaoberá sa konfliktom medzi islámom a západom. Diplomová práca rozoberá samovražedný atentát po faktografickej stránke, výskyt samovražedných atentátov v histórii v rámci islámu i mimo neho. Zaoberá sa taktikou a princípmi samovražedného terorizmu a profilom samovražedných atentátnikov a teroristických skupín. Objasňuje efektivitu samovražedných atentátov z pohľadu teroristov a z pohľadu cieľových štátov na základe ústupkou dosiahnutých samovražednými atentátmi.

The diploma thesis examines prospects of democracy in developing countries. The first part deals with the notion democracy, ways of its measuring and its conditions. The second part introduces democratization processes during the twentieth century. Next chapters outline contemporary situation in three developing continents -- Latin America, Africa and Asia. Final part summarizes prospects of democracy in today's world.
