Čínské ekonomické reformy

Práce analyzuje základní rysy, průběh a příčiny úspěchu čínských ekonomických reforem, zaváděných od konce 70. let 20. století. Podrobně jsou rozpracována hlavní reformní opatření, jejich cíle a fázování a vliv těchto kroků na vývoj čínské ekonomiky. Právě ekonomickým změnám v zemi je věnována velká pozornost. Práce se mj. věnuje politice otevření se světu a principům "socialistické tržní ekonomiky". Na konci práce je zhodnocen současný stav čínské ekonomiky a uvedeny prognózy jejího budoucího vývoje.

Sociálně ekonomická charakteristika Mexika na přelomu tisíciletí

Jako téma své bakalářské práce jsem si vybrala analýzu sociálně ekonomické situace Mexika na přelomu tisíciletí. V první části této práce nastíním obecnou charakteristiku země, kde se hlavně zaměřím na potenciál Mexika a jeho využití. Ve druhé části provedu rozbor sociálně ekonomické charakteristiky země, a to hlavně díky demografickým ukazatelům a ukazatelům rozvoje. Abych následně v poslední části mohla zvýraznit četné nerovnosti mezi obyvateli země a nastínit problematiku migrace.

Role of state in economic development of East African countries

The first part of this paper presents insight in contemporary academic discussion about deeper determinants of economic growth. In the second theoretical part, the role of state in economic development is discussed from five perspectives -- the perspective of neoclassical development economics, neoliberal approaches, the perspective of providing public services, integration in international trade and the perspective of institutional factors with impact on state structure and functioning. The analytical part compares development experience of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania (from the mid 60s) from the above mention five perspectives. Then it is concluded which policies and institutions in case of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania were yielding unsatisfactory results in terms of economic development.

Indebtedness of the Least Developed Countries

Práce se zaměřuje na problematiku zadluženosti, kterou zkoumá komplexním způsobem, v souvislosti s bezprostředně souvisejícími oblastmi a v kontextu nejméně rozvinutých zemí. Od jejich nutného počátečního vymezení se tematika postupně soustředí na obecný význam dluhu, jeho příčiny, důsledky či kvantitativní stránku. Prostor je také věnován podstatnému zohlednění rámce historického vývoje dluhové krize a samozřejmě i konečnému předložení určitých konkrétních konceptů ohledně řešení zadlužení v postižených zemích.

Economic relations of the Czech republic with the Latin America (an example of Cile)

This graduation theses is concerned with the economic development of the economies of Latin America and the Caribbean and economic relations of the Czech republic with these latinoamerican countries, especially trade and business relatins with Chile, Argentina, Brasil and Mexico. The purpose of the gradution theses was to analyse and mutual compare the progress of trade and business relations of these four selected countries and the possibility of czech enterprises to succeed on trade market of these countries.

Microfinance - poverty reduction tool

This diploma thesis focuses on microfinance, it's basic characteristics and general principles of it's function. It introduces microfinance approaches, development of microfinance, microfinancial services and microfinance providers. Two largest microfinance institutions in Bangladesh, Grameen bank a BRAC, illustrate how microfinance works, helps to empower the poor and reduces their poverty in one of the poorest countries in the world.

Economic transition of Egypt

In the first chapter natural, human and capital resources of Egyptian economy are characterized. In the second chapter the changes in economic policy after 1952 are described, from the era of Arabic socialism to the present period of economic transformation. The third chapter deals with the privatization process. In the fourth chapter deregulation of the economy is described, especially the land reform, the banking sector reform, monetary and fiscal policy. The fifth chapter deals with the process of opening of the econimy, thus liberalization of foreign trade and investmendd is described. The sixth and last chapter is focused on the structural changes in particular sectors of economy.

The first chapter talks about the events that took place in the French Western Africa in the second half of the 20th century. The second chapter describes all the economics at the beginning of the 21st century. Economics are described with the basic indicators and economic activities. The third chapter is about the obstacles to the economic development and the purpose of the last chapter is to show the progress achieved in case of the obstacles.

Mexico at the beginning of the new millennium: PEST analysis

The aim of this essay is a survey of the Mexican economy. Its strong points and weaknesses shall be found and the international competitiveness of the country will be explored. The instrument of the survey is PEST analysis. The PEST analysis helps to explore the economy from four points of view in order to get a complex image of the country. Several factors, political, economical, social and technological ones, have to be judged together because they influance each other. AT the end of description of each factor, there will be a review of the situation. Problems of the economy will be found, the estimation of future development will be made, eventually innovation suggestions will be placed.
