Nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete walls
Jurášek, Lubomír ; Vymlátil,, Petr (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
Master thesis is based on a doctor thesis dealing with the behavior of reinforced concrete elements stressed shear by the author Ing. Stanislav Martinec, Ph.D. Author master thesis has the task create a spatial finally element model loading testing construction and researched the wall element. Defined finally elements model is mainly to provide proper interaction test device steel frame with the test wall element. Need for sufficiently detailed numerical analysis is necessary to define the non-linear concrete material model, that is researched element, using the extensions multiPlas for calculation software Ansys. The key output parameters, for comparison with the results of load tests, are total bevel and maximum level of applied force on the wall element. The goal is assess the effect of a steel frame, contained in finally element model, to output parameters for by non-linear numerical analysis.
Verification of nonlinear material models
Prokš, Tomáš ; Němec, Ivan (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with verification of nonlinear material model of soil FHWA SOIL during shear test. The nonlinear problem was being solved by software LS-DYNA using explicit formulation of finite elements method. The values of horizontal displacements during the direct shear test were compared with the results listed by the developer of the material. The considerable difference in the results led to focusing on the settings of the material model and influence of application of load, geometry and type of finite elements on the monitoring values.
Wind loads of building structures
Štěrba, Martin ; Kala, Jiří (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the effects of wind load on building structures. In the context of the work is solved the numerical modeling of flow around the solid cylindrical bodies at high Reynolds numbers. To the simulations has been used computational software ANSYS CFX. The outputs of the work are the values of Strouhal numbers and the values of drag and lift coefficient depending on the Reynolds number.
D - Areas Analysis using Strut and Tie models
Konárek, Lukáš ; Hradil, Petr (referee) ; Zídek, Rostislav (advisor)
The objective of bachelor thesis is the analysis of typical D-areas of reinforced concrete structures. The analysis is performed using methods replacement truss. In the beginning models replacement truss are used for analysis shear bending girder. It is also shown in the individual chapters specific D-areas using spare truss method. These particular truss models are solved by RFEM program operating on the principle of Finite Element Method.
Analysis of the steel structure of the bridge by FEM to the action of static load
Skorunka, Ondřej ; Hradil, Petr (referee) ; Salajka, Vlastislav (advisor)
The structures of bridges are one of the most demanding engineering structures. They fulfill an important social and economic role in the development of the given territory. From this perspective, it is necessary to pay close attention to the process of design, analysis, realization and service. This thesis deals with the static analysis of spatially curved and asymmetrical suspended foot bridge for pedestrians and cyclists. The first part is devoted to the analysis of structural deformation, while the second part is focused on the analysis of selected parts of the structure in terms of its stress.
Wind load analysis of building structures
Ptáček, Václav ; Kala, Jiří (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on wind load analysis with regard to the dynamic effects caused by wind impact on slender structures. These calculations are conducted for a chimney structure with use of various wind velocities. The thesis includes basic principles of fluid flow modeling in CFD programs like ANSYS CFX.
Nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete structures
Král, Petr ; Salajka, Vlastislav (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
The aim is to design and evaluate nonlinear beams analysis, which will be subjected by four – point bending. Nonlinear analysis will be performed and evaluated on three beam models, the first of which will be made from plain concrete, the second of which will be made from reinforced concrete with reinforcement bars in the domain of tensile stress and the third of which will be made from reinforced concrete with reinforcement bars in domains of tensile and compressive stress. The thesis will be included formation of appropriate FE models, performance of nonlinear calculations with using nonlinear material model from a library of nonlinear material models multiPlas in the programming environment of software ANSYS and subsequent evaluation of results. Evaluation of results will consist from evaluation of nonlinear beams analysis and from evaluation of beams analysis according to ČSN EN 1992 – 1 – 1 without reinforcement bars and with reinforcement bars in these variants, next from comparison of nonlinear beams analysis with a beams analysis according to ČSN EN 1992 – 1 – 1 and finally from evaluation of the yield condition, which will be applied to the beams.
Static analysis of clarified tank structure
Kika, Aleš ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis was to perform static analysis of the retention tank. It was created a computational model of the construction in program ANSYS, defined all load cases, and their combinations. At the end of thesis, some components of the tank were designed and evaluated for ultimate limit state and service limit state.
The interaction of vehicles and road restraint systems
Rozbroj, Lukáš ; Němec, Ivan (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
In this thesis I learned to work with the program LS-DYNA. The result of the calculation of the deformation of the concrete barrier, which involved replacing the vehicle at speeds of 80 km / h, 100 km / h and 120 km / h at an angle of 15 ° and 30 °. Calculations were performed and evaluation of important variables.
Static analysis of arch bridge structure
Farkasová, Zuzana ; Zídek,, Rostislav (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
The main task of the Bachelor´s thesis is to do a static analysis of arch bridge construction with two span and bridge deck hanged on pulled cables. My task was to construct numerical model of bridge construction, to make load solution and to evaluate results. I have learned about ANSYS programme during processing this thesis, especially about its working environment WORKBENCH.
