This bachelor thesis is focused on financial analysis of AERO VODOCHODY a.s. The main goal is to assess the financial stability. Analysis was made over the years 2002 - 2007. In the first part the thesis describes the principle of financial analysis. Theoretical part describes instruments and methods of calculation which was used in this thesis. Practical part describes brief description of the company and calculations of particular instruments. Vertical and horizontal analyses, ratio indicators, concretely indicators of profitability, activity, liquidity and indebtedness, balance rulers, net worth capital, Altman index, Index IN05, indicator EVA and comparison intercompany was used in this thesis. All recognized values always have verbal commentary. All results and situation of the company are summarized in the end of this thesis.

The subject of my bachelor's work is financial analysis of company Prazska energetika. This work is focused on examination of financial situation of one of the most significant players on the energetic market in the Czech Republic. This work consists of two main parts, theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part there are mentioned several techniques, indicators and instruments of financial analysis itself. The practical part carries out analysing the company through the instruments listed in the first part of the work.

Práca sa zaoberá spracovaním finančnej analýzy podniku Stock Plzeň a.s.. Sú v nej spracované nielen základné analytické postupy - horizontálna analýza a verikálna analýza, ale aj pomerové ukazovatele, analýza pracovného kapitálu, Du Pontová analýza, quick test, index IN01 a ekonomická pridaná hodnota EVA. Ďalej práca obsahuje porovnanie podnikových výsledkov s výsledkami v odbore priemyslu.

The purpose of this bachelor work is to carry out financial analysis of Continental Teves Czech Republic, s.r.o. which is aimed at discovering of the company`s overall financial health and is also trying to evaluate future perspective. The work is devided into two basic chaptors. The first one describes procedures of financial analysis which is used in this work and the second one contains the financial analysis itself. There are applied the basic methods of financial analysis in this work, such as vertical and horizontal analysis of the financial statements, ratio analysis, bankruptcy models, EVA indicator and branch comparison.

Valuation of the Zentiva N.V

The objective of the thesis is a valuation of the Zentiva N.V. The valuation was worked out using the following methods: (1) the DCF entity method with application of the FCFF, (2) a financial analysis of this company, (3) the SWOT analysis, (4) a market analysis, and (5) the projected financial statements for 2009 - 2012. The assessed financial value of the company was calculated to be CZK43,566,947,000 on the date of 1.12.2008.
