Application of backstroke technique for persons with higher spinal lesion

Title: Application of backstroke technique for persons with higher spinal lesion Goal: The goal of this bachelor thesis is to verify methodical series of J. Nevrkla and M. Kovář for persons with higher spinal lesion in training of a modified backstroke technique Methods: This work is intent on one of sport activities - swimming. We used a cased study where was chosen swimming methodical range for handicapped people and which was made by J. Nevrklou a M. Kovářem. We chose a swimming technique backstroke and its modification of the swimming methodical range. We applied single swimming items to people with infliction of higher spinal lesion. Course of education of each of those people was written down for later analyse. Results: Swimming methodical series for backstroke was used for five persons with handicap higher spinal lesion. All persons achieved the swimming literacy without using any relieving help and help of any other person. Doing the systematic training of this method we gained not only swimming literacy of persons but also their condition was influenced together with their state of mind which was causes by influence of aquatic environment on organism. Title of Thesis: The analysis of swimming techniques, such as breast stroke and crawl stroke, for individuals after upper limb and lower limb amputations. Targets: The target of the thesis was to analyse and evaluate swimming techniques, such as breast stroke and crawl stroke, for individuals after a lower limb amputation in comparison to the individuals after an upper limb amputation. Further findings impact periodical mobility in an aquatic environment for the overall condition of the human body in the individuals mentioned. Methods: The thesis is completed in the form of a pilot study. The study was originated in conjunction with the individuals after a limb amputation; the study was conducted over a six month period. The study includes the analysis of medical documentation, the construction of the kineziological analyses, the realization of self-education and the processing and comparing of resultant indicators with professional literature. Results: Proband A reached a minor improvement in physiological functions. Further, they have reached a better quality in both trained swimming techniques. Precis Name of thesis: Development and present situation of swimming and water sports in region of Jindřichův Hradec Aim: Aim of this work is description of development water sports in region of Jindřichův Hradec From 1st half of 19 century till 2008. Follow the development of swimming and water sports from aspect of performance and recreational sports and also probe the situation of swimmning facilities in Jindřichův Hradec. Method: For decribe of swimming and water sports we used archival materials and historical method. The final point of this method is show main characteristics for better knowledge of structure and development of this unit. For this labor we used all available historical materials and periodics. Results: It is compact look of swimmnig history and water sports from beginning and decribe all important moments in region of Jindřichův Hradec. Fast swimming of visual impaired people focused on performance in S12 and S13 class men

Subject: Fast swimming of visual impaired people focused on performance in S12 and S13 class men. Objective: The main goal of this Diploma Thesis is to find out why top male swimmers with more serious visual impairments in the category S12 get on the same or better performance than male swimmers in category SI3, who suffers from less serious disorders. Methods: Data used in this work are based on questionnaire research (non-standard questionnaire own construction by author of Diploma Thesis). Is concerned about empirical research which is categorized to observation class. We have chosen combination of comparative research with an interrogation about views as a research type. We have found out differences between categories S12 and S13 in comparative research. In interrogation on views we were interested about opinions by national trainers of visual impaired swimmers from 55 countries. Results: We applied 55 national trainers of visual impaired swimmers for cooperation on this research. Results used in this work are based on answers from ten of them. Swimming is a conformable sport, where people with visual impairment categorized into S12 and S13 class can easily compete with healthy population. Title: Work-preparation of hard visually impaired students in the special second schools. Objective: To give a comprehensive summary of the questions arising in employment of visually disabled persons in Czech republic, and in their preparation for work. Through a method of questionnaires investigate the quality of work-preparations in the special second schools in Czechrep. Method: The method in this research is questioning through questionnaires made for five special second schools for visually impaired in Czech rep. A specific questionnaire is created for the headmaster, educational adviser, teachers and for the students in the second half of their study. Results: This reports intention is to present the reader with all the relevant and useful information about the employment problem of visually disabled persons in Czech republic. The pieces of information given are actual responses to the presented situation. It was discovered that the level of preparation visually impaired gets in the special schools is good. The fact is that students are well prepared in light of subsequent integration into the society. Workname Swimming sports in the Czech republic in years 1945-1960 Aimofwork Aim of work of graduation theses is to approach and describe progress of swimming sports in the Czech republic in a given period. The main contents of this work is characterization of development and actual state of swimming, water polo, fancy diving and synchronized swimming as well as organizational ensuring of competition in a given period. One part of the work is view of results of Czech swimmers, divers and players of polo in championships both in the Czech republic and abroad (World championships, Europe championships, Olympic games,..). Tendency is then to zoom in important moments in history of Czech swimmings sports. Method Chronology, comparative Chronological method is used in the course of the whole work describing the development of the particular swimming sports in the Czech republic during the years 1945- 1960.
