Deformation, stress and safety analysis of the bicycle frame.
Ondrejka, Jan ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess complience and safety of the bicycle frame with basic elasticity approach, namely by deformation and stress analysis. After model simplyfying, two different cases were made. Difference between these two were in loads aplied on the frame. Maple 12.0 softwarre was used for calculation, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD were used for sketches. The results were checked with ANSYS Workbench.
Analysis of the influence of pressing force on the weld joint strength of the composite component
Litera, Jan ; Sedláček, Stanislav (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
Nowadays, components made of metallic materials are increasingly being replaced by components made of plastics or composites with a polymer matrix. This is associated with the issue of production processes such as pressing or welding, i.e. the influence of process parameters on the output properties of the product. The presented thesis deals with the issue of the combination of pressing and welding of a composite part, specifically the influence of the pressing overlap on the strength and tightness of the welded joint. The first part is focused on a search of available literature related to the problem. The second part deals with solving the problem using experimental modeling. Part of this chapter is inclusion of computational modeling in the design of experiment, detailed measurement of essential dimensions, microtome analysis and statistical processing and evaluation. The third part focuses on the creation of a method for evaluating the strength of the weld based on the pressing overlap using computational modeling. Essential part is also validation of the computational model based on previous experimental measurements. Finally, two methods for evaluation of the weld strength are presented. The first works on the basis of computational modeling and the second on the basis of experimental modeling. At the same time, the presumptions of usage of the created methods and their drawbacks are pointed out. Furthermore, the possibilities of their implementation in the initial design of the welded joint and the proposal for the next procedure are described.
Analysis of the use of Code_Aster in solving the limit state of fatigue strength
Busta, Michal ; Kovář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the analysis of the use of Code_Aster in the calculations of the limit state of fatigue strength. The first part is the research in fatigue analysis using the solver Code_Aster and in the second part the know-how of Code_Aster usage is used to solve three tasks of the limit state of fatigue strength. Acquired results are compared with analytical solutions and with the student licence of the numerical software Ansys Workbench 19.2. In conclusion, all the results are analysed.
Strain-stress analysis of the throttle valve components
Lisický, Ondřej ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with stress-strain analysis of component, which is used for regulation of gas quantity, which comes into gas boiler. There will be acquaintance with issue, determining load and consecutive application of this load in ANSYS. At the end there is a chapter pursuing of experiment on the component.
Determination of closing valve control moments
Benda, David ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Hnízdil, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the calculation of the torque on the output shaft of the four-concentric butterfly valves and experimental measurement of this torque on real manufactured valves. At the beginning is carried out a brief research, the purpose describe the basic components of the butterfly valves, its production variants of the offset disc, eventually types of fittings to piping. The main part describes the partial torque occurring on the individual components. Following data from the performer measurement and at the end are compared obtained results.
Strength and deformation analysis of parametric family of hydraulic stretchers
Jagoš, Jiří ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Petruška, Jindřich (advisor)
The master thesis is focused on an evaluation of a preload lost in a tappered joint. The analyzed bolts are preloaded by a hydraulic tensioner. When the tensioner is removed, the joint is established and the preload in bolt is decreased. The analysisis carried out on axisymmetry model of joint in ANSYS Workbench 15, a finite element method is implemented in that software. The evaluation of the preload lost is made for a used range of ratio of clamped length to a nominal diameter of bolt. Geometry and material assumptions are defined. Before preloading of bolts to a desired value the process of stabilization preloading must be done otherwise outlines of the analysis are not applicable. On the base of the outlines of the analysis, the method for analytical computing of the desired pretension is done. The method involves the preload lost, which occurs due to establishment of the joint. The strength assesment of the hydraulic tensioner for bolts M72x4 is done. A 3D model of the tensioner with one plane of symmetry was used. Strength criteria for maximum allowed linear-elastic stress are in accordance with ČSN EN 13 445-3.
Analysis of influence of geometric deviations of semifinished product on following bending process
Anděl, Tomáš ; Kubík, Petr (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
Presented diploma thesis was created in cooperation with Siemens s.r.o., and deals with the analysis of the bending of aluminium sheets which are later used as a conductors of high voltage electrical energy. These parts are completed into assemblies which serves as connectors of particular segments of an electrical network. The problem occurs as a result of incorrect bend, because it is impossible to join these sections properly. The customer would like to verify if the defined tolerances of semi-finished products are sufficient for proper bend and in case they are not, the tolerances should be modified. Due to the requirement for running numerical simulation in one of the open source software, the Salome-Meca program environment was used.
The usage of Salome Meca workbench for task solution in the field of solid mechanics
Anděl, Tomáš ; Návrat, Tomáš (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
Presented bachelor’s thesis focuses on solving basics tasks in the field of solid me-chanics by the finite-element open-source software Salome Meca. The theoretical background of finite element method (FEM), general explanation of basic expressions and brief summary of today’s used open-source and commercial software too is intro-duced in the opening part of the thesis. The brief overview of Salome Meca compu-ting environment and then file of individual tasks solved by using this software are followed. Acquired results are later compared with the other numerical software (ANSYS Workbench) or with analytical solutions.
Summary of FEM aplication on the basis Open Source
Tománek, Jiří ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This work focuses on the summary of currently available FEM applications on the Open Source basis which are freely available on the Internet. There are three programs presented (Salome, Roshaz and Ansys) and in each of them there was an easy simple plane performed and demonstrated. In the final part, a comparison of the results and the procedures for the award plane task in the three above mentioned programs was carried out.
Analysis of mechanical characteristics of bone tissue in relation to osteoporosis
Kordula, Tomáš ; Návrat, Tomáš (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis deals with difference of values of mechanical quantities in relation to osteoporosis. Problem has been solved with the aid of experiment. Samples of bone tissue were made from bovine ribs. The samples were firstly measured in physiological state and afterwards in demineralization and deproteinization state.
