The importance of cooperation of nurse and a high school preventist

The bachelor thesis deals with the suitability of a high school preventist and a medic cooperation on educational activity concerning sexually contagious illnesses, contraception, first aid and addictive drugs. It describes drug, alcohol and nicotine (smoking) abuse, parenthood prevention, AIDS, gonorrhoea, syphilis, hepatitis B and C, meningococcus sepsis, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, bleeding discontinuation, shock conditions, unconscious persons, burns and evolutional period of adolescence. The thesis is aimed at the discovery of whether it is a benefit for the students of high school/apprentice training centre to discuss these issues with a medic or whether the discussion is not necessary and the information given by the teachers is sufficient. Among above-mentioned, an extent of an up-to-date knowledge of a given issue among students and their reactions to the presence of educational activity of the medic were discovered.

Nursing care of a patient after the first implantation of permanent pacemaker

The aim of this thesis is a case study of nursing care on patient XY, 95 years, who were acutely admitted to the cardiology department for symptomatic sick sinus syndrome, AV block first degree, and left bundle branch blockage. Thereafter, the patient was implanted permanent pacemaker. The thesis is divided into a clinical and nursing. In the clinical section, I briefly describe the anatomy and physiology of the heart conduction system, arrhythmia on the patient's cardiac types. Particular attention was paid Pacing permanent - its development, indications for implantation according to new guidelines, incentive schemes. I also described the progress of implantation TKS, preparation before and after surgery care, complications of implantation of TKS and permanent cardiac itself. There are also indications of the selected patients and the course of his hospitalization for implantation of TKS. The introduction of the nursing work briefly deal with the description of the nursing process and models of basic nursing care according to Virginia Henderson. Nursing home care of the patient with leg ulcer

The aim of my bachelor thesis of nursing care for a patient diagnosed with V.Š venous leg ulcers in home care. Work consists of clinical and nursing section. The clinical part deals with anatomical and physiological description of the skin and the venous system of lower limbs, characteristic of disease, etiology, diagnostic tests, treatment and prognosis. The nursing section briefly describe the nursing process and nursing model Marjory Gordon, which I used as a theoretical basis for processing and evaluation of patient history. I analyze information to determine actual and potential nursing diagnosis, I was effectively planned and implemented nursing home care. Given that Mrs. V.Š in the care of nursing home care for nearly a year, short-term nursing diagnosis, I set the current length of day in a standard manner by treating physician's surgery and one month long. Nursing component of the evaluation of mental status and education of patients and their families. The conclusion is a summary of key information contained in my work and the prognosis of the disease.

Nursing care of the patient with type 1 diabetes mellitus

Téma své bakalářské práce ošetřovatelská péče u pacienta s diabetem mellitem I. typu jsem si zvolila na základě mého dlouhodobého zájmu o tuto problematiku. Pracuji v domově pro seniory a do mé náplně práce patří již osmým rokem péče o diabetiky v našem zařízení. S klienty s diabetem jsem v neustálém kontaktu, provádím u nich pravidelně odběry před diabetickými kontrolami, edukace a pravidelně 1x týdně navštěvuji diabetologa, který má naše klienty ve své péči. Klienti našeho zařízení jsou senioři, proto se zaměřuji na diabetes mellitus ve vyšším věku. Někteří z našich klientů trpí diabetem již řadu let, u mnohých je zjištěn právě ve vyšším věku. Při práci s diabetiky této věkové skupiny je třeba nesmírné trpělivosti, ale také určité shovívavosti a individuálního přístupu k nim. Ze svých klientů jsem si vybrala paní A. H., která je jediným diabetikem I. typu v našem zařízení. Paní A. H je též stále obětavou manželkou svému manželovi, který trpí Alzheimerovou demencí a po CMP též pravostrannou hemiparesou, vážím si ji proto jako člověka.

Nursing care of the pacient with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Cílem mé případové studie je zpracování ošetřovatelské péče o nemocného J. P., který byl hospitalizován na oddělení ARO v nemocnici Benešov s diagnózou exacerbace chronické obstrukční plicní nemoci. V první části popisuji chrakteristiku a definici tohoto onemocnění, dále klinický obraz, diagnostiku, prevenci a léčbu. Druhá část obsahuje průběh hospitalizace u nemocného, lékařskou anamnézu, podávání léků a jejich charakteristiku. V ošetřovatelské části používám metodu ošetřovatelského procesu z modelu Funkčního zdraví Majory Gordonové. Analýzou získaných informací jsem sestavila aktuální a potencionální ošetřovatelské diagnózy, sestavila jsem plán ošetřovatelské péče k řešení jednotlivých problémů. V závěru mé práce se věnuji prognóze zdravotního stavu pacienta a celkovému hodnocení ošetřovatelského procesu.
