The diploma thesis deals with all the steps necessary for preparing a company for the entry of a strategic partner. The output of the analytic part is the SWOT analysis of the company and its field of business. Based on theoretical outputs regarding the investors´deciding over capital input, two major weaknesses are highlighted, the solution to which is the contents of my practical part of the thesis. More specifically, it deals with the changes concerning property evaluation and HR management of the company.

The goal of this master’s thesis is to suggest a business plan of development for e - shop expansion, that sells japanese kitchen knives. The theoretical part describes the forms of business, the method of composing a business plan and the requirements for establishing an e – shop. In the analytical part, the contemporary situation of the e – shop Jakuno is described and the situation of e-commerce in Czech Repulic as well. The conclusion of this thesis deals with the business plan itself and proposes its suggestions for improving the company efficiency.

Evaluation of Company Financial Performance and Proposals of Improvement

The master’s thesis evaluates the financial situation of the RACOM, Ltd. company. There are used some selected methods of financial analysis during the period 2004-2008. Theoretical and methodological basis of financial analysis are outlined in the first part of thesis. Selected instruments are applied on this company in the next part. Results from the financial analysis and some suggestions which could lead to better economic performance of the RACOM, Ltd. company are in the final part of this thesis.

The subject of Master’s thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the company and to suggest strategy of stabilisation and possible expansion of the company. The theoretical part is aimed to describe methods of the financial analysis, indicators and systems of indicators, that will be used in the practical part in the financial analysis. From the results of the financial analysis will be suggested strategy of stabilisation and possible ways to expand company entrepreneurial activities.
