Title: Analysis of the activities of the Fire rescue service in the Moravian - Silesian region (Opava regional department). Objectives: Analysis of the activities of the Fire rescue service in the Moravian - Silesian region (Opava regional department) for the period 1. 1. 2017 - 31. 12. 2019. They are corps of the category JPO I: Hlučín, Opava and Vítkov. Methods: Data collection in cooperation with an internal worker of the Fire brigade of the Moravian - Silesian region - Territorial department Opava and searches of available sources. Analyzes were performed for each unit separately according to the type of events in individual years, followed by a comparison between individual years. Results: The results of the diploma thesis are a description of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Moravian - Silesian Region (Territorial Department of Opava) and an analysis of the activities of free selected unit of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Mioravian - Silesian Region (Territorial Department of Opava) in 2017 - 2019. Title: Crisis management during the pandemic COVID-19 Objectives: The goal of this thesis is to summarize circumstances which led to the declaration of the state of emergency and to describe the crisis management in the Czech Republic during the pandemic COVID-19. Methods: In order to work out this thesis, relevant study sources were searched and afterwards research of the study sources was done. Methods which are used in this thesis are descriptively-analytical. Results: The results of this thesis are summary information about the circumstances which led to the spreading of COVID-19 disease all over the world and primarily summary information about the crisis management during the pandemic COVID-19 in the Czech Republic. Title: Terrorism and cyberterrorism as threats for the present Objectives: Describe the principle, history and typology of terrorism. Approach and describe the problematics of cyberterrorism. Analyze and compare available terrorist attacks which happened from 11th September 2001 to 19th February 2020. Methods: The theoretical part was developed on the basis of study, analysis and research from Czech and foreign literature about problematics of terrorism and cyberterrorism. The practical pard included the collection of electronic and printed information about terrorists attacks which were further analysed and compared using five factors, which were: the year of terrorist attack, method of execution, country that tooked place of the attack, number of injured and number of victims. Results: The result of this diplama thesis is the description of the principle, history and typology of terrorism, description of problematics of cyberterrorism and analysis of terrorist attacks which happened from 11th September 2001 fo 19th February 2020. Title: Emergencies in nuclear power plants Objectives: The aim of this work is to summarize information about emergency plans of nuclear power plants Temelín, Dukovany and the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Methods: Descriptive-analytical methods are used as methods in this work. Study sources and their subsequent research were used to develop this work. Results: The result is a summary of information on the emergency plans of the Temelín and Dukovany nuclear power plants and on the accident was the largest nuclear power plant accident in history. The current nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic place great emphasis on the prevention of nuclear accidents and on the overall safety of operation. Title: Analysis of the activities of selected fire brigade units of the Fire and Rescue Service ot the Czech Republic in different geographical conditions. Objective: The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the activities of selected fire brigade units of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and then compare and evaluate the statistical formulation of their interventions. Another goal is also to describe the structure, activities, organization and work system of fire brigade units of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. Methods: The diploma thesis uses methods such as content analysis and data collection from available sources. To obtain more detailed information from the commanders of individual stations, a qualitative method of semi- structured interview is used. The information obtained from the interviews is presented in the form of a transcript. Statistical data taken from the statistical department of the General Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic are processed into tables and graphs, which are described, compared and evaluated at the end. Title: Mental Resilience in Emergency Objectives: The objectives of this bachelor thesis are to create a complete file of informations related to psychological resilience and emergency due to the effect of stress and psychological burden on affected people by the emergency. Methods: In this thesis the methods of descriptive-analytical character were applied. For obtaining the necessary informations and the introduction of theoretical background was used searching of study sources. Results: The result of this thesis is a summary of informations about mental resi-lience and about stress during stressful situations and emergencies. Changes in motivation and fear of selected individuals during the first jumps

Title: Changes in motivation and fear of selected individuals during the first jumps Objectives: Describe the process of jumping off a plane in terms of emotions experienced during it Methods: In this work is used the method of mixed research, especially the method of case studies that describe the researched object in depth. As a research material, were chose 3 standardized questionnaires (16 PF, EOD-A, Monitoring changes in individual activities) and one non-standardized structured interview on 20 questions examining the experience of fear during the jump and 20 questions identifying motivational motives to perform the jump. The research sample was 3 subjects who participated in the same parachuting course. Results: All subjects were successfully examined for their emotions during the parachute jump process. All respondents stated that the main motivational aspect that caused their participation in the parachuting course was the need to try something new. In terms of fear, individuals showed the greatest concern about not opening the main parachute and the subsequent situation where they would be forced to open a backup parachute. Fear was also expressed about possible slipping out of the parachute harness, landing outside the landing zone somewhere in the meadow or possible fractures of the...
