Talent is one of the basic requirements for being interpret. It is one of variety of factors affecting, forming and consequently developing interpretative process. Care for talent is integrial part of musically interpretative art. Talent is determined by inborn and hereditary abilities aswell as by surrounding influences and upbringing. There are few signs of talent - general musicalness, physiological and anatomical properties, and abilites such as ear for music, sense for rhythm, sense for complex percepting music, etc. Piano talent is also connected to the piano play elaboration. We can notice advencement of one´s music abilities through process of mind developement since birth until adulthood. According to modern psychology, we focus on development of skills and abilities important for musicaly interpretative work or auditory imagination, motoric inteligence, coordination between hearing and movement, form imagination, semiotic thinking, aesthetic sense, discipline, etc. One of the most important factors during the process of developing one´s talent is a teacher. At first, the teacher has to focus on discovering and uncovering student´s talent, afterwards on it´s creative development. The interpretative work concepted as a game should be followed by interpretative guidance leading into an achievemnt - expression of music piece. During this period, the teacher targets at evolving student´s natural creativity while forming music imagination, score reading and explication, specification of the piano sound and the piano technique, metodics for practice. The final goal is to reach phase of fully developed piano thinking as a specific area of general music thinking. Piano thinking, as we understand it, includes synthesis of all the mental components of piano talent. Specific expresions of developed piano thinking are noticable through playing performed by mature artists. They intervene in compositional skills as well - especially in case of music composers who dwell on piano playing. The piano literature benefits from such personalities for they thoroughly respect the piano play specifics.
