Optimizing the operation of domestic wastewater treatment plants

The bachelor thesis deals the possibilities of optimizing the domestic wastewater treatment plant. The research part focuses on ways of discharging wastewater from small sources. The most frequently observed indicators, which are reported in the current legislation, are also mentioned in this part. The practical part focuses on a description optimized of an domestic wastewater treatment plant and it is resulting problems with the operation, as well as the individual outputs of samples and their comparison with indicators in the legislation. The last section provides optimization recommendations that address emerged issues.
Processor controlled voltage stabilizer with high efficiency

Each elektronics device needs power supply voltage with special parameters. Voltage regulators warrant this special parameters. This thesis deal with principles of switching voltage regulator, especially step-down convertor, its features and ways to microprocessor based control of the convertor.
Temperature monitoring unit

Content of the Bachelor Thesis covers design and realisation of an unit for multipoint temperature measuring in cooling and freezing equipments in food stores and shops. As a controlling microcomputer is used an Atmel ATMega128, temperature sensors are realised by DS18S20 digital thermometers, connected via 1-wire bus. Unit can read temperature from 32 temperature sensors, includes memory for measured data, real time clock, Ethernet interface and display with buttons for basic user control. Temperatures are measured periodically with user defined interval, values are stored into internal memory and showed on display. Measured data can also be transferred via Ethernet to clinent PC, where can be viewed in form of table and graphs.
Microprocesor controlled charger

This thesis deals with design of microprocessor controlled battery charger with support of NiCd, NiMH and Li-Ion cells. The project focus is aimed within circuits design at algorithm of charge detection implemented into microprocessor. User interface is formed by PC application which communicates with charger via USB. PC connection allows recording of charging characteristics behaviour. The result of thesis is completely designed and created battery charger including microprocessor and PC application source codes.
Design of evaluation network for in-vehicle networking communication chips

Cílem této diplomové práce bylo navrhnout moduly určené k demonstraci a testování některých obvodů, používaných v automobilové technice. Jedná se o LIN transceiver NCV7420 a osmivýstupový výkonový budič AMIS-39101. Návrh spočíval ve vybrání a popisu parametrů vhodných podpůrných obvodů, vytvoření celkového schématu a navržení desky plošných spojů tohoto modulu s ohledem na kompaktní rozměry a předpokládané testy. Dalším krokem byla tvorba firmware řídicího mikrokontroléru (C8051F344), jež zajišťuje LIN komunikaci, řízení budiče a základní monitorovací funkce. Poslední část popisuje software pro hostitelský PC umožňující komfortní řízení sítě složené z těchto modulů. Pro úplnost byl tento projekt doplněn o přehled vlastností sběrnice LIN a metodiky testování LIN transceiveru z hlediska funkčních parametrů i některých EMC měření. V příloha obsahuje kompletní schéma modulu, výkresy desek plošných spojů, seznam řídicích příkazů a fotografie modulu.
Java EE Organizer

This thesis analyses existing organizers and approaches associated with these applications. Next part of the work describes three tier architecture and its individual parts. It also described some of the basic technologies which are included in the Java EE platform, or which that are closely related to this platform. Last part of the work is dedicated to describing the implementation and design of Java EE Organizer. It is an application which target is administration of event, task and contact manager.
Laboratory device involving the high selectivity filters

This project deals with the frequency filters of high selectivity. The area frequency filtering is fairly comprehensive and theoretically demanding discipline. The aim of this work isn’t to describe in detail and to include knowledge of the frequency filters, but only to clarify the aforementioned issues. In particular, we focus practically on filters working on other physical principles, especially on the crystal structure of partition filters and ceramic filters. The circuit simulation programs through classes Spice will be one of the parts of the theoretical analysis. There will be presented various options for implementing these filters, and the test products used in the design. The laboratory exercises dealing with frequency filtering and measuring engineered product will be made and based on the theoretical findings of this work. The laboratory exercises will include the developing of the model protocol.
Winery Building

The goal of the thesis and its theme “ Winery Object“ is to create the contract documents for realization of the building. Winery is drafted for processing the grapes. It is situated into steep land, in uptown of Pavlov. The building is designed as a detached object with three floors. The first floor is partially sunk into the ground. The building consists of two objects on the first floor and is connected into one joint area, where is space for aging the wine, bottling, storage area and shipping. The first part of the object includes administrative area, area for employees, grape press plant and cellarage. In the second object there is designed the room for degustation and in the loft area the room for drying the straw wine. Supporting brickwork is slated of cement bricks of sacrificial formwork, insulated and there is aired facade. Ceiling construction is made of cellular Spiroll panels. The entire object is roofed with queen post truss with burnt roof covering.
Modern trends of production Al-based castings

This bachelor thesis is a recherche discussing new methods of the production al-alloy castings, which are mainly developed for the needs of automotive and airspace industry. The described methods are semi-solid casting and metal-matrix composites as the approaches of slurry production and squeeze casting and V-process as the approaches of casting. Further are described SLS, SLM and MJF methods of rapid prototyping and the structure of SLMed AlSi9Cu3 alloy is observed.
Thunderstorms occurrence in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on storm situations in the Czech Republic and their occurrence in the period 1961-2020. It analyses the conditions of occurrence and appearance of thunderstorms and describes the storm activity at Karlovy Vary, Prague-Ruzyně, Brno-Tuřany and Ostrava-Mošnov airports in the period between 2001-2020. Marginal mention is made of the phenomena accompanying the storm, conditions of its passage and methods of detection.
