This thesis focuses on complex appraisal of XYZ from 2006 to 2010. Its first part deals with theoretical knowledges of financial analysis and with presentation of the company. These knowledges are used to analyze the financial situation of the company in the second part. The final section of this work evaluates the results of each analysis, highlights the critical areas and suggests some possible recommendations towards improving the efficiency of the company.

The purpose of the bachelor's thesis is to analyse a chosen company over the past three accounting periods on the basis of the provided information. The results will be in the form of analysis reports, SWOT, SLEPTE and Porter analysis. Each analysis will be fully explained and subsequently applied to the real conditions of the chosen company. In the last part of the thesis, particular suggestions for improving of the current situation in the company are worked out.

This thesis focuses on the evaluation of the financial situation and on the analysis of performance of the selected firm. There are applied methods of finacial analysis and the pyramidal decomposition of economic value added including the identification of value drivers. Companies’ indicators are compared with their branch avarage. The imperative part of this thesis are my proposals and recommendations which can help to remove or reduce the weak parts in the company.

The bachelor´s thesis specifies partly problems of valuation in historical costs and specifies possibilities according the International Financial Reporting Standards (IAS/IFRS).

The Analysis of Tax Records in the Selected Company

This thesis deals with the analysis of the present state of the company. This analysis is used as basis for making proposals for improving the current situation of the company. The theoretical introduction and the basic concepts definitions are included in the first part of the thesis. The second part focuses on the analysis of the current situation of the company. Suggestions for improvements are presented in the final section. Specifically, the solution for the transition process from tax records keeping to the accounting is designed due to the transformation the firm to a limited company.

The aim of this theses is to evaluate conditions of the selected business by means of the analyses of the internal and external environments, including the macroeconomic environment analysis, Porter's Five Forces Analysis, the financial and fundamental analysis and SWOT analysis for a selected period. Before the analysis execution is defined theoretical basis, which includes an explanation of the principles of the analyses. The outcome of these parts are an implementation of executed analyses and information to a specific conditions of the company and a suggestion of the recommendations, which improves efficiency of the company.
