Tool for parsing and analysing of web pages
Odstrčil, Štěpán ; Ilgner, Petr (referee) ; Galáž, Zoltán (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is dealing with parsing of text in HTML pages and its analysis. Practices from Natural Language Processing were used. There were written libraries (or packages) in programming language Python, with use of modern practices, techniques and libraries. The usages and examples of these libraries and classes were made. All these libraries were tested using Unit tests. Application contains GUI (Graphical User Interface) for wasier usefulness and demonstration of functionality.
Android stock market application
Balaževič, Lukáš ; Ilgner, Petr (referee) ; Zvončák, Vojtěch (advisor)
The aim of the work is to design and implement an android application which will display parameters of cryptocurrencies, technical indicators and will predict the price based on the modern technology of machine learning. In addition to the displaying parameters, the user will be able to set up notifications. Application displays data from the Firebase database. The data are uploaded to an application from two services which run on Ubuntu server and are written in programming language Kotlin and Python. Services are in charge of obtaining and data processing. One of the services takes care of price prediction, the price is predicted using a LSTM neural network where each cryptocurrency has an own training model. The result of the work is a system that takes care of the whole lifecycle of the data from the acquisition, transformation and the presentation to the user. Based on acquired information from the application, the user is able to make statistically correct decisions in the cryptocurrency market without the need to constant market monitoring.
Android OS software design patterns utilizing the Kotlin language
Maloušek, Jan ; Ilgner, Petr (referee) ; Zeman, Kryštof (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to describe design patterns and other programming best practices used in the development of Android applications. The theoretical part analyzes design patterns, Kotlin programming language, dependency injection, reactive programming and automatic testing. The practical part deals with the design and implementation of a sample Android application, which demonstrates the advantages of using design patterns and other proven programming practices described in the theoretical part.
Software Controller for OpenWrt Based Wi-Fi Access Points
Jašíček, Petr ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Ilgner, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to create a web application used for centralized management and configuration of wireless networks on access points running on OpenWrt distribution. The reader is acquainted with common principles of wireless networks including description of existing solutions for their centralized management. After that the thesis introduces the reader to OpenWrt distribution and to a method of its configuration using UCI model. The reader is then introduced to the main technologies used in this thesis. Author further describes architecture, user interface and implementation of the web application. The created web application is platform agnostic and provides easy way to manage and configure access points with OpenWrt distribution.
Analysis of webserver and domain security
Dvonč, Tomáš ; Lieskovan, Tomáš (referee) ; Ilgner, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to analyze the security of web and e-mail servers. The work consists of three parts. The first part describes communication protocols and explains the basic difference between them. The second part describes the history of development of cryptographic protocols which are used to encrypt communication, prevent data capture and manipulation. Furthermore, the security architecture is presented, the way the client-server communication is implemented and the concept of the certification authority is clarified. In addition, the various security mechanisms that provide reliable communication over the Internet will be described. In the third part the main focus is to create a program that would automatically test the security features of the enclosed domain set. The Application was created in the Golang programming language using Docker. The result is security analysis statistics and security errors detection. Based on the data obtained, the user will be provided with current the security status of web and email servers.
Security of EDGE sensors
Jančík, David ; Lieskovan, Tomáš (referee) ; Ilgner, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the security of EDGE sensors on the Raspberry Pi platform, which is used to store sensitive data on disk. In this thesis, the test device is Raspberry Pi 4. First, it examines and implements an SD card security module from Swissbit, Swissbit PS-45u, and Zymkey 4i from Zymbit. With the knowledge of Zymkey i4 and Swissbit to design and implement its own physical security module. Authentication is handled using smart cards that support the NFC communication. The components powered on the prototype board are an Arduino Nano, an accelerometer and a gyroscope, two connecting wires, two LEDs and an NFC interface.
Stress Testing of Video Streaming Services
Kříž, Petr ; Ilgner, Petr (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the load testing of services for adaptive streaming of multimedia content. The thesis starts with a theoretical discussion of load testing and standards for adaptive streaming. The practical part deals with the creation of scenarios for load testing the created streaming server. Finally, graphs are prepared including commenting on the testing result.
Virtualization on routers
Ráboňová, Jana ; Zvončák, Vojtěch (referee) ; Ilgner, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with router based virtualization in the field of computer networking. The main goal is to present platforms suitable for virtualization and demonstrate practical usage afterwards. There were choosen three virtualization platforms, Mikrotik MetaROUTER, KVM and LXC containers. All of them have been tested for its performance. For MetaROUTER platform has been done modifications to allow deploy the newest version of linux distribution OpenWRT. Further, there were choosen testing scenarios, for which have been shown the possible aplication of virtualization on routers.
Stress Testing of Internet Telephony
Šípek, Martin ; Ilgner, Petr (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the development of a module for JMeter that adds SIP stress testing functionality that was previously missing in the program. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with Internet telephony and codecs used in telephony. The SIP protocol is discussed in detail and the end of this part is devoted to stress testing. The practical part focuses mainly on the development of the proposed module, where the code of the module is described in detail, but it also deals with the installation and configuration of the Asterisk PBX on which the proposed module is tested. The results of this testing are analyzed at the very end of this thesis.
Laboratory exercises explaining network technologies using various simulation instruments
Vaľuš, Dávid ; Ilgner, Petr (referee) ; Bečková, Zuzana (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the preparation of an operating system, a simulation environment and the creation of two laboratory exercises explaining network technologies. In the theoretical part protocols DHCP, FTP, TFTP, HTTP, and NAT service are described. The practical part focuses on the installation of ns-3 and GNS3 programmes and their utilization and settings on OS Ubuntu 18.10. Moreover, it deals with the preparation of laboratory exercises created in the simulation programmes mentioned above together with tutorials, self-check questions and HTTP server in the Python programming language.
