The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse financial situation of the MESIT ronex, Co., Ltd in years 2006 to 2009. Financial analysis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part explains the main terms of financial analysis and describes the methods in which is the financial analysis done. The practical part consists of horizontal and vertical analysis,analysis of profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, activity ratios and leverage ratios. Also bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy models are applied and analysed together with analysis of economic value added.

The overall assessment of the company is divided into the period from 2002 to 2007 and the period 2008 to 2009. This breakdown is caused by a turnover in management caused by the global financial crisis.

Financial analysis of Philip Morris ČR a.s. aims to illustrate the financial situation of the years 2005 -- 2009. There is a theoretical description of all methods applied in the first part: horizontal and vertical analysis, financial ratios and working capital, bankruptcy and financial standing models and performance evaluation of the company according to EVA. The second part describes the analyzed company, and there are applied the theoretical models. The individual results are then interpreted. In this part is the company also compared with its competitor. The final part of this work answers the question, if the company is, or is not, a financial strong company.

In order to truly find out about the observed company's financial situation and it's future expectations, we need more than just a general wiev on data contained in the financial statement which is a part of the annual report. These do give us actual insight into the last year's situation, but they still lack sufficient evidence. To better understand the economy of a given company we use financial analysis. It puts individual data into mutual connection and using various models it helps to find out about the company's situation. In my work I carry out financial analysis of Pivovar Svijany a.s. from the wiev of an external user for years 2005 to 2009. In it's first part I describe particular methods used in my analysis. The second -- pivotal part of my work includes the actual analysis, interpretation of it's results and lastly a synthesis of discovered information and a conclusion.

Financial analysis of the small construction company in the period 2005 - 2009, focused on bankruptcy models and bankruptcy risk. Content of analysis is a summary of the economic situation in the construction industry in the period, description of the analyzed company, identification of its main competitors and SWOT analysis. Application part contains horizontal and vertical analysis, analysis by ratios, Du Pont decomposition, calculation of economic value added (EVA), comparison of company to industry and finally the analysis contains calculation of selected models of bankruptcy and credibility. The last part of the analysis is the conclusion and summary of the whole analysis, including prediction of financial situation of the company.

The bachelor thesis is aimed at complex appraisal of financal health of Baťa, akciová společnost, one of key clothing industry companies in the world. The thesis analyses the progress of basic financial indiactors during the years 2005 to 2009. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part is named "teoretical" as it describes the methodology and defines the formulas applied in the "practical part". The practical part consists of the analysis itself. Since the aim of the analysis is to provide a simplified view on the financial position of the company as a whole, it covers various indicators useful for both external and internal users. All the input data the analysis is based on are accessible to the public. No internal financial statements were used.
