Modeling of sensorless BLDC motor control
Reindl, Jakub ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Pazdera, Ivo (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the creation of a literature search of basic control methods, creation of a model of a BLDC drive and simulation of selected algorithms of a commutatorless DC motor. At the beginning, the construction of the EC motor is briefly described, then its basic parts and principles of electronic commutation are described. The work mainly deals with methods of sensorless EC motor control. In the next part, the created BLDC drive model in Simulink is described, and in the last part, three selected BLDC motor control algorithms are simulated.
High-current solid state relay
Daďa, Pavel ; Ctibor, Jiří (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of an electronic semiconductor contactor for power switching of battery systems. The work includes familiarization with the function and use of photovoltaic systems and familiarization with types of battery systems. Furthermore, the original solution using the GIGAVAC GX23 power contactor and introduction along with the design and dimensioning of the newly proposed solution using a power semiconductor contactor. The conclusion of the work summarises the findings of the design and possible extension of the final product. The text of the thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter contains a description of the issue of connecting battery modules in the FVE area. The second chapter deals with the issue of connecting battery blocks. The third chapter contains a general description of the SSR for alternating voltage switching. The following fourth chapter describes SSR relays for dc voltage switching. The fifth chapter describes the specific solution of the power switch including the dimensioning of the power elements and the design of the radiator. In the next chapter, the knowledge and possibility of further development of the SSR contactor.
Acceleration method of measuring electrical machines
Ředina, Ondřej ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
This thesis deals with the acceleration method of measuring electrical machines. The beginning of the work is dedicated to the description of standard loading methods, the description of the acceleration method and the analysis of losses in the electrical machine. Two speed modulations are selected: linear and sinusoidal. Each modulation requires a different procedure for determining the speed profile parameters. To apply the method, a diagram of the connection of the workplace is drawn and its optimization is carried out. Subsequently, the usability of the oscilloscope card is verified, which ensures the determination of the instantaneous frequency. Before the test itself, the moment of inertia is measured and the parameters of the speed profile are calculated. The acceleration method is supplemented by a full load test for a more detailed comparison of the results. The measured data almost coincide with the predicted values and trends.
Battery monitoring and protection system
Hladík, Jan ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with design of battery management system. Requirements for battery management system and its conception is discussed in the first part of the work. System is able to disconnect load or charger from battery using MOS-FET transistors. It measures battery cell's voltages and is capable of passive balancing. Microcontroller is used for data processing and system control. Schematics, printed circuit board layout and control algorithm was designed. Prototype of the battery management system was then manufactured and tested.
Switch mode supplies
Kadlecová, Lucie ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
In this bachelor‘s thesis is described the design and construction of switch-mode power supply with a pulse transformer. It is mainly focused on projecting and putting into practice of the basic functional elements - LC filter, pulse transformer, transistor converter, transistor drivers, rectifiers and control circutory, including experimental testing of the final product.
Car-battery charger
Kadlec, Josef ; Procházka, Petr (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is considered by projection and construction of the car battery charger with switching source. One-pulsed conducting changer is base of this charger. The charger is intended for accumulators of nominate voltage 6 and 12V. Accumulators are charged by method of constant voltage with current limitation of 0.5A, 5A, 20A and 50A. Value 50A has reason during stating of car for example in winter, because the charger helps to battery. The device is equipped with additional protection, which protects the charger and also the accumulator and the supply network. Three pilot lights are the next equipment of the device.
Simple converter for three-phase asynchronous motor 100 W
Pilch, Tomáš ; Kadlec, Josef (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to propose a optimalization of an already implemented three-phase frequency converter to the higher electric output, using a different chopper circuit. Teoreticaly is possible to drive an asynchronous motor with power up to 2 kW.
Control board for educational laboratory stand
Cejpek, Miroslav ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
This work deals with the design scheme and printed circuit boards for drives teaching laboratory Stand, for teaching at the Department of Power Electrical and Electronic VUT Brno.
Motor parameter identification for laboratory stand
Lidmila, Petr ; Kadlec, Josef (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
The goal of introduced thesis is to provide measurement of the engines used as a tutorial laboratory stand in the course “Electric drives”. Due to the absence of appropriate measurement centre, the main emphasis is laid on the modernization of older dynymometer, which is going to be used by the students. Dynymometer has been equipped with the electric speed and torque vbmeasurement, data from these measurements are displayed and evaluated by the digital devices very clearly and precisely. Engines parameters measurements has only marginal importance in this thesis.
