Předmětem bakalářské práce je tematika platebních karet a jejich pojetí z hlediska praxe. Na platební karty je nahlíženo především ze strany běžných uživatelů, tj. držitelů platebních karet. Práce se zabývá oblastí jejich vzniku a vývoje, deskripcí základních charakteristik a řeší současné otázky související s bezpečností, a to primárně v prostředí České republiky. Práce je dále zaměřena na praktickou analýzu platebních karet, ve které je kladen důraz na bankovní poplatky související s užíváním platebních karet. The subject of bachelor thesis is a payment card and its concepts in terms of practice. The payment cards are seen primarily from the current users, i.e. holders of payment cards. The thesis deals with the areas of their origin and development, description of basic characteristics and solves the current issues related to security, especially in the Czech Republic. Thesis is also focused on the practical analysis of payment cards in which the emphasis places on the bank charges associated with the use of payment cards.
