Tato magisterská práce pojednává o Kocianově kvartetu, které patřilo k nejlepším českým souborům uplynulých desetiletí. Zabývám se vznikem ansámblu a jeho vývojem v průběhu let . Popisuji rozsáhlou koncertní činnost, speciální projekty, pedagogickou a nahrávací činnost. Důležité a cenné jsou přehledy diskografie, repertoáru, premiér soudobých skladeb, rozhlasových nahrávek, zahraničních cest, veřejných vystoupení, které jsou přiloženy. Při vzniku práce mně pomohli členové souboru, primárius Pavel Hůla a violoncellista Václav Bernášek, kteří mně vše z historie kvarteta osobně vyprávěli. Všechny informace jsou tedy více než autentické. Zároveň mně Kociánovci poskytli veškeré podkladové materiály ( programové brožury, plakáty, kritiky, fotky aj.),jimiž práci doplňuji. This master´s thesis has the main purpose in Kocian Quartet, one of the best Czech ensembles during the last four decades. I write about the group´s rise and prograss during the years. I describe wide concert activities, special projects, recording and pedagogical activities. The important and valuable are lists of discography, repertoir, premieres, broadcast recordings, abroad tours, public shows, which are attached. Quartet´s first violinist Pavel Hůla and quarte´s violoncellist Václav Bernášek have helped me during the formation of this work. They have been describing from the ensemble´s history to me personally. All the informations are therefore more than authentic. The Kocians gave me source materials ( concert´s programms, posters, reviews, photos etc.), which are also presented.
