Hlavním úkolem práce je zanalyzování cestovního ruchu v zemích Evropské unie a v Evropské unii jako celku. Teoretická část se zaobírá stručnou charakteristikou Evropské unie, vysvětlením pojmů nabídky a poptávky cestovního ruchu a současnými trendy na poli cestovního ruchu. Samotná analýza je rozdělena do tří částí. První část tvoří demograficko-geografická analýza, která zkoumá např. populaci a rozlohu v Evropské unii. Druhá část porovnává jednotlivé výkony cestovního ruchu a třetí část se zabývá infrastrukturou cestovního ruchu (materiálně-technickou i dopravní). Práce obsahuje také zhodnocení příspěvků odvětví cestovního ruchu v národním hospodářství Evropské unie a srovnání cestovního ruchu Evropské unie se světovým cestovním ruchem. Při vyhotovení práce se vychází z informací a dat dostupných na internetových stránkách statistického úřadu Evropské unie (Eurostat) a mezinárodních organizací cestovního ruchu (WTTC, UNWTO). The main objective of the Bachelor thesis is tourism analyzing in the countries of the European Union and in the European Union as a whole. The theoretic part concerns on a short characteristic of the European Union, explaining terms of tourism supply and tourism demand and new trends in the tourism area. The analysis is separated into three parts. The first part is made with demographically-geographical analysis that studies for example population and surface of the European Union. The second part confronts individual tourism outputs and the third part deals with tourism infrastructure (materially-technical and traffic). The work contains also the evaluation of tourism benefits in the national economy of the European Union and the comparison of tourism in the European Union and in the world. The information and the data are collected from the internet sites of the statistics office of the European Union (Eurostat) and the international tourism organisations (WTTC, UNWTO).
