Vybrala jsem si téma České tance od Bedřicha Smetany. Přestože je Smetana známý jako operní skladatel, zkomponoval také mnoho skladeb pro klavír. Zaujalo mě, že Čech Bedřich Smetana ukázal ve své hudbě české národní tance. Zvolila jsem si I. řadu českých tanců, kterou tvoří čtyři polky fis moll, a moll, F dur, B dur. Ty jsem podrobně rozebrala a zjistila jsem, že dohromady vytvářejí cyklus. I have chosen the topic Bedřich Smetana "Czech dances". Although Smetana is well known as an opera composer, he also composed many kinds of compositions for piano. I was especially interested in the fact that the Czech composer Bedřich Smetana intended to show Czech folk dances in his music. I have chosen "Czech dances" which consists of four polkas - F sharp minor, A Minor, F Major, B flat Major. I have analyzed the four pieces and found out that Smetana wrote the four polkas as a cycle.
