Tato práce vykládá film Gyumri české dokumentaristky Jany Ševčíkové z pohledu staré toltécké moudrosti. Tvorba Jany Ševčíkové se týká základních otázek života a smrti. Ševčíková ve filmu s etnografickou přesností ukazuje, jak se jednotliví lidé z města Gyumri, zasaženého v roce 1988 katastrofálním zemětřesením, vyrovnávají s pomíjivostí lidského života. Rodiny, kterým zemřely děti, dávají svým novým dětem stejná jména. V této práci zkoumám povahu tohoto fenoménu, jeho kořeny a odraz v životě běžného člověka v naší kultuře. Tento text je úvahou o tom, jak může autor i divák k tématu tohoto charakteru přistupovat, aby si z jeho ztvárnění mohl odnést co nejvíce zkušeností, které mohou obohatit jeho život. Stejně jako tento film, i tato práce je orákulem, zrcadlem, které odráží to, co se děje někde hluboko uvnitř. This work is trying to explain the documentary film Gyumri by a Czech film director Jana Ševčíková by using the heritage of ancient Toltec wisdom. Her film is touching basic questions of life and death. With etnographic approach, Ševčíková shows the people in the city of Gyumri, which was affected by destructive earthquake in 1988, who have to deal with the ephemerality of life. The families from this city are facing the catastrophe by giving their new born children same names, as they gave to the children, who died during the earthquake. In this work, I?m making a research on this phenomenon, his roots and reflection in the life of contemporary peple in our society. This text is an essay on how the author and the audience can understand this theme, so they get as much experiences as possible to inrich their life. Like this film, this text is an oracle. It is a mirror, reflecting something, what happens very deep inside.
