The goal of this thesis is to design and implement rational, personality-driven behavior for non-player characters, with a focus on dynamic social interactions and group intelligence. The theoretical part reviews social behavior, personality models, and artificial intelligence techniques used in the implementation. The practical part presents a 2D top-down game demonstration developed in the Godot Game Engine. All characters, including the player, are organized into groups with dynamically evolving relationships. Individual decisions of non-player characters are controlled by a behavior tree influenced by these relationships and by personality traits. The implemented system is modular and extensible, and it demonstrates that combining rational decision making, personality traits, and persistent relationships can produce adaptive and interactive social behavior.
