cze Abstract:
This diploma thesis focuses on the frequency analysis of postural sway with an emphasis on the 2-4 Hz frequency band in the anteroposterior (AP) direction under a sensory-challenging condition of standing with eyes closed on a foam surface (EC foam). The aim of the study was to evaluate the clinical significance of increased spectral energy in this frequency band and to assess its relationship to the type of disorder and the duration of symptoms. This study has a retrospective observational design and is based on the analysis of stabilometric recordings of patients examined at the Neurotological Center of Motol University Hospital between 2014 and 2026. A total of 127 patients were included in the final sample and divided into a group with increased signal in the 2-4 Hz range and a group without this finding. Diagnostic classification was based on the results of electronystagmography (ENG) and/or the video head impulse test (vHIT). Frequency analysis was performed using Fourier transformation, and quantitative evaluation was based on the percentage of spectral energy in the frequency band above 2 Hz. In patients observed in practical part of this thesis there was found statistically significant difference in the distribution of diagnostic categories between the groups was found (p < 0.001), with...
