cze Abstract:
Výsledky: Byla...Background: Procedural pain during invasive procedures in pediatrics is a complex phenomenon that is significantly modified by anticipatory fear and anxiety. Negative emotional experiences prior to the procedure itself can lead to sensitization of the child and subsequent increased perception of physical pain intensity. Objectives: The aim of this study is to evaluate the correlation between the level of fear of blood collection immediately before and after blood collection, and to evaluate the relationship with the perception of procedural pain during blood collection in children aged 6 to 15 years. Methodology: The research was conducted at the Central Blood Collection Point of the Emergency Department of the Motol University Hospital. Data collection took place after informed consent had been given by a parent or legal guardian and verbal consent had been given by the child, using three methods: an anamnestic questionnaire, recording the level of fear immediately before and after blood collection using the Children's Fear Scale (CFS), and recording the perceived intensity of pain during collection using the Wong-Baker FACES Pain Rating Scale (WBFPS). The target cohort size was at least 150 patients aged 6 to 15 years who came for blood collection from the outpatient clinics and who met the...
