Východiska: Paliativní péče o děti s onkologickým onemocněním je pro sestry jednou z nejnáročnějších oblastí. Přestože je kladen důraz na vzdělávání, sestry v praxi často pociťují nejistotu. Tato nejistota se objevuje hlavně v situacích, kdy je potřeba komunikovat s rodinou umírajícího dítěte nebo řešit příznaky u pacientů, kteří nemohou mluvit. Teoretická část práce je zaměřená na základní poznatky o pediatrické paliativní péči a specifikách dětské onkologie. Jsou zde zpracovány jednotlivé kapitoly týkající se dané problematiky. V empirické části práce jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky výzkumného šetření, které se zaměřovalo na získání informací o úrovni odborných znalostí sester v oblasti paliativní péče a identifikaci nejproblematičtějších oblastí v praxi. Cíl: Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit úroveň odborných znalostí sester na dětských onkologických odděleních a pojmenovat hlavní problémy, se kterými se sestry v paliativní péči setkávají. Metodika: Pro výzkumné šetření byl zvolen kvantitativní přístup formou anonymního dotazníku vlastní konstrukce. Šetření se zúčastnilo 40 sester z lůžkových a ambulantních částí dětské onkologie. Získaná data byla zpracována pomocí statistických metod (chí-kvadrát test) na hladině významnosti 0,05. Výsledky: Výzkum ukázal, že sestry mají velmi dobré... Background: Palliative care for children with oncological diseases is one of the most demanding areas for nurses. Although emphasis is placed on education, nurses often feel uncertain in practice. This uncertainty mainly arises in situations where it is necessary to communicate with the family of a dying child or manage symptoms in patients who cannot speak. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on fundamental knowledge of pediatric palliative care and the specifics of pediatric oncology. Individual chapters cover issues related to the given topic. The empirical part evaluates the results of a research survey aimed at obtaining information on the level of professional knowledge of nurses in the field of palliative care and identifying the most problematic areas in practice. Aim: The main aim of the bachelor thesis was to determine the level of professional knowledge of nurses in pediatric oncology departments and to identify the main problems nurses encounter in palliative care.
