Předmětem bakalářské práce je zmapování současných poznatků o léčbě karcinomů štítné žlázy u dětí a adolescentů se zaměřením na léčbu pomocí radiojód. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a speciální. Základem teoretické části je analýza odborných článků a doporučených postupů odborných společností, specifika onemocnění a léčebných procesů v dětském věku. V speciální části jsem nejdříve využila místní radiologický standard k popisu postupu při radiojódové terapii. Samotná praktická část zahrnuje analýzu souboru, který obsahuje údaje dětí do 18 let léčených radiojódem pro diferencovaný karcinom štítné žlázy na specializovaném pracovišti v období let 2017-2024, s cílem posoudit, jak se projevuje diferencovaný karcinom štítné žlázy v době diagnózy a jak je účinná léčba radiojódem. The subject of the bachelor's thesis is to map current knowledge on the treatment of thyroid carcinoma in children and adolescents, with a focus on radioiodine therapy. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a special part. The theoretical part is based on an analysis of scientific articles and guidelines issued by professional societies, and it addresses the specifics of the disease as well as treatment procedures in pediatric patients. In the special part, a local radiological standard was first used to describe the procedure of radioiodine therapy. The practical part further includes an analysis of a cohort of patients comprising data on children under 18 years of age treated with radioiodine for differentiated thyroid carcinoma at a specialized center between 2017 and 2024. The aim was to assess the clinical presentation of the disease at the time of diagnosis and to evaluate the effectiveness of radioiodine treatment.
