Adaptační proces představuje klíčový prvek začlenění nových sester do klinické praxe. Kvalitně vedená adaptace přispívá k profesní jistotě, spokojenosti a setrvání v oboru. Její nedostatečné nastavení může vést k frustraci, vysoké fluktuaci a snížení kvality péče. Staniční sestry hrají v adaptaci zásadní roli, neboť se podílejí na organizaci procesu a poskytují novým sestrám přímou podporu. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak staniční sestry vnímají adaptační proces, jak jej hodnotí v praxi a zda se jeho podoba liší mezi fakultní nemocnicí v Praze a krajskou nemocnicí v Jihlavě. Výzkum byl realizován formou kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření mezi staničními sestrami obou nemocnic. Dotazník vlastní konstrukce obsahoval 35 otázek: 22 uzavřených, 10 polouzavřených otázek a 3 otevřené. Respondenty byly staniční sestry z Fakultní nemocnice Bulovka a Krajské nemocnice Jihlava. Z výsledků vyplynulo, že osobní komunikace byla v obou nemocnicích nejčastější formou kontaktu s novými sestrami (více než 90% odpovědí). Za nejobtížnější části adaptačního procesu označili respondenti zvládnutí velkého množství informací (Bulovka 97,30 %, Jihlava 81,08) a organizaci vlastní práce (Bulovka 56,76 %, Jihlava 59,46 %). V procesu výběru školící sestry se objevily rozdíly: zatímco ve fakultní nemocnici převažovalo... The adaptation process represents a key element in integration new nurses into clinical practice. A well-structured adaptation contributes to professional confidence, job satisfaction, and retention in the profession, while insufficient implementation may lead to frustration, high staff turnover, and reduced quality of care. Ward managers play a crucial role in this process, as they are responsible for its organization and provide direct support to newly employed nurses. The aim of this thesis was to explore how ward managers perceive the adaptation process, how they evaluate it in the practice, and whether its implementation differs between a teaching hospital in Prague and a regional hospital in Jihlava. The research was conducted as a quantitative questionnaire survey among ward managers from both hospitals. A self-designed questionnaire consisted of 35 questions: 22 closed, 10 semi-closed, and 3 open-ended. Respondents included ward managers form the Faculty Hospital Bulovka in Prague and the Regional Hospital in Jihlava. The results showed that face-to-face communication was the most common form of contact with new nurses in both hospitals (reported by more than 90,00 % of respondents).
