Bakalářská práce na téma "Dušení/uzávěr dýchacích cest cizím tělesem - rizika, prevence a řešení neodkladných stavů v nemocnici" se zabývá problematikou vzniku akutního dušení u dítěte a znalostí správného postupu při jeho řešení. Cíle: Hlavním cílem práce je zvýšit informovanost o problematice dušení cizím tělesem u dětí a o správných postupech první pomoci při těchto stavech. Práce se zaměřuje na závažnost akutního uzávěru dýchacích cest a na znalosti správného postupu jeho řešení u vybraných skupin respondentů. K těmto situacím dochází poměrně často a značná část populace nezná přesné postupy první pomoci. Metody: Empirická část práce interpretuje výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které bylo realizováno formou kvantitativního výzkumu pomocí anonymního dotazníku. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 95 respondentů, konkrétně zdravotničtí pracovníci a učitelky mateřských škol. Výsledky: Výsledky dotazníkového šetření ukazují, že většina respondentů zná základní postupy první pomoci při dušení cizím tělesem. Bylo však zjištěno, že znalost správného postupu při dušení závisí na profesní skupině, přičemž zdravotní personál vykazuje vyšší úroveň znalostí než učitelky mateřských škol. This bachelor's thesis, titled "Choking/Airway Obstruction by a Foreign Object - Risks, Prevention, and Management of Emergency Situations in the Hospital," addresses the issue of acute choking in children and the proper procedures for managing such situations. Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to raise awareness about the issue of choking on a foreign object in children and about the correct first aid procedures for these situations. The thesis focuses on the severity of acute airway obstruction and on knowledge of the correct procedures for managing it among selected groups of respondents. These situations occur relatively frequently, and a significant portion of the population is unaware of the exact first aid procedures. Methods: The empirical part of the study interprets the results of a questionnaire survey, which was conducted as quantitative research using an anonymous questionnaire. The survey included 95 respondents, specifically healthcare workers and preschool teachers. Results: The results of the questionnaire survey show that most respondents are familiar with the basic first aid procedures for choking on a foreign object.
