Bakalářská práce se zabývá kombinovaným využitím zevní radioterapie a brachyterapie v radikální léčbě gynekologických a urologických malignit. Teoretická část shrnuje základní fyzikální principy ionizujícího záření, jeho interakce s biologickou tkání a radiobiologické mechanismy účinku. Dále se věnuje principům frakcionace, rozložení dávky a technikám boostu, se zvláštním důrazem na význam brachyterapie a její kombinace se zevní radioterapií v klinické praxi. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na retrospektivní analýzu souboru pacientek s karcinomem děložního hrdla léčených na Onkologické klinice FN Motol v letech 2020-2025 kombinací zevní radioterapie a brachyterapie. Soubor zahrnoval 121 pacientek, u nichž byla hodnocena délka sledování, celkové přežití a výskyt lokálních i vzdálených relapsů onemocnění. . Abstract The bachelor's thesis deals with the combined use of external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy in the radical treatment of gynecological and urological malignancies. The theoretical part summarizes the basic physical principles of ionizing radiation, its interaction with biological tissue, and the radiobiological mechanisms of its effects. It also focuses on the principles of fractionation, dose distribution, and boosting techniques, with particular emphasis on the role of brachytherapy and its combination with external beam radiotherapy in clinical practice. The practical part of the thesis is focused on a retrospective analysis of a cohort of patients with cervical cancer treated at the Department of Oncology of Motol University Hospital between 2020 and 2025 using a combination of external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy. The cohort consisted of 121 patients, in whom follow-up duration, overall survival, and the occurrence of local and distant relapses were evaluated
