Abstrakt Bakalářská práce se zabývá nejčastějšími příčinami poruch vědomí, zástavy dechu a oběhu u dětí a možnostmi poskytnutí první pomoci v těchto situacích. Práce je složena ze dvou částí, a to teoretické a empirické. V první části je pozornost věnována rozdílům mezi typy dýchání a jejich významu při rozhodování o zahájení kardiopulmonální resuscitace (KPR). Práce popisuje postup laické KPR krok za krokem u dětí různých věkových skupin, zdůrazňuje jejich specifika a upozorňuje na časté chyby. Dále se zabývá telefonicky asistovanou KPR a využitím mobilní aplikace Záchranka a výhodami, které tato aplikace přináší. Práce také představuje pomůcky vhodné pro laické použití při poskytování KPR u dětí - jejich dostupnost, výhody a nevýhody v praxi a situace, kdy není možné tyto pomůcky využít. Součástí práce jsou také možnosti, jak se správné provádění KPR naučit, včetně přehledu dostupných kurzů pro laickou i odbornou veřejnost. Abstract The bachelor's thesis deals with the most common causes of disorders of consciousness, respiratory arrest and circulation in children and the possibilities of providing first aid in these situations. The thesis consists of two parts, namely theoretical and empirical. In the first part, attention is paid to the differences between the types of breathing and their importance when deciding to start cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The thesis describes the procedure of lay CPR step by step in children of different age groups, emphasizes their specifics and draws attention to common mistakes. It also deals with telephone-assisted CPR and the use of the Záchranka mobile application and the advantages that this application brings. The thesis also presents tools suitable for lay use when providing CPR in children - their availability, advantages and disadvantages in practice and situations when it is not possible to use these tools.
