Východiska: Pacienti s poruchami způsobenými užíváním psychoaktivních látek se často vyskytují na somatických odděleních, kde jejich péče představuje specifickou zátěž pro ošetřovatelský personál. Postoje sester mohou významně ovlivňovat kvalitu poskytované péče i terapeutický vztah, přesto se však objevují. Cíl: Cílem práce bylo identifikovat postoje sester k pacientům s poruchami způsobenými užíváním psychoaktivních látek a určit faktory, které tyto postoje ovlivňují. K dílčím cílům patřilo popsat specifika ošetřovatelské péče o tyto pacienty a zhodnotit potřeby sester v oblasti vzdělávání a odborné podpory. Metody: Bylo provedeno kvantitativní výzkumné šetření nestandardizovaného dotazníku vlastní konstrukce. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 314 sester pracujících na standardních lůžkových interních a chirurgických odděleních ve vybraných krajích České republiky. Výběr respondentů probíhal metodou záměrného výběru v kombinaci se samovýběrem. Data byla zpracována pomocí deskriptivní a inferenční statistiky. Výsledky: Sestry se s pacienty s poruchami způsobenými užíváním psychoaktivních látek setkávají velmi často, péči o ně vnímají jako náročnější a vyčerpávající. Postoje sester se ukázaly jako ambivalentní, kombinující profesionální přístup s přetrvávajícím negativním vnímáním těchto pacientů.... Background: Patients with substance use disorders frequently present in somatic hospital settings, where their care poses specific challenges for nursing staff. Nurses' attitudes can significantly influence the quality of care provided as well as the therapeutic relationship; however, stigmatizing attitudes and negative perceptions toward these patients persist. Aim: The study aimed to identify nurses' attitudes toward patients with substance use disorders and to determine the factors influencing these attitudes. The partial objectives included describing the specifics of nursing care for these patients and assessing nurses' needs in the areas of education and professional support. Methods: A quantitative research study was conducted using a non-standardised, self- developed questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 314 nurses working in standard inpatient internal medicine and surgical departments in selected regions of the Czech Republic. Participants were recruited using purposive sampling combined with self-selection. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods.
