Název práce: FAKTORY OVLIVŇUJÍCÍ VOLBU PROFESE SESTRY U MUŽŮ A ŽEN Cíl: Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zmapovat a analyzovat genderové rozdíly v motivaci k volbě profese, v kariérních preferencích a ve vnímání společenských stereotypů u všeobecných sester a ošetřovatelů. Metodika: Výzkumné šetření mělo kvantitativní charakter a bylo realizováno formou dotazníkového šetření. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo celkem 120 respondentů, z toho 48 mužů a 72 žen. Získaná data byla vyhodnocena pomocí deskriptivní statistiky a pro testování stanovených hypotéz byl využit dvou výběrový t-test a Pearsonův chí-kvadrát test dobré shody na hladině významnosti α= 0,05. Výsledky: Výzkum prokázal statisticky významný rozdíl v motivaci k výběru profese. Muži přikládají signifikantně vyšší význam externím faktorům, jako je finanční ohodnocení a jistota pracovního uplatnění. Ačkoliv deskriptivní data naznačila silnější inklinaci mužů k práci v intenzivní péči a k dosažení manažerských pozic, tyto rozdíly nebyly statisticky potvrzeny. Významným zjištěním je vyvrácení předpokladu o vyšší míře stigmatizace mužů v oboru; obě pohlaví pociťují nutnost obhajovat svou profesní volbu před okolím na velmi nízké a téměř identické úrovni. Závěr: Všeobecné ošetřovatelství v České republice prochází úspěšnou destigmatizací a profesionalizací.... Title of the Thesis: FACTORS INFLUENCING THE CAREER CHOICE OF NURSES BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN Objective: The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to map and analyze gender differences in motivation for choosing the profession, career preferences, and the perception of societal stereotypes among female and male nurses. Methods: The research was quantitative in nature and was conducted using a questionnaire survey. The research sample consisted of 120 respondents in total, comprising 48 men and 72 women. The acquired data were evaluated using descriptive statistics, and to test the established hypotheses, an independent two-sample t-test and Pearson's chi-square test of goodness of fit were used at a significance level of α= 0.05. Results: The research demonstrated a statistically significant difference in motivation for choosing the profession. Men place a significantly higher value on external factors, such as financial remuneration and job security. Although descriptive data indicated a stronger inclination of men towards working in intensive care and achieving managerial positions, these differences were not statistically confirmed. A significant finding is the refutation of the assumption regarding a higher degree of stigmatization of men in the field; both genders feel the need to defend their career...
