Tato magisterská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu podstatných faktorů, jež musí producent uvážit v souvislosti s uvedením filmu do kin. V první části stanovuji východiska celé práce a shrnuji současný stav kinodistribuce v ČR a jak se k němu dospělo. V druhé, hlavní části se zabývám samotným rozhodováním producenta v souvislosti s uvedením filmu do kinodistribuce, kdy se z dostupných dat snažím především vysledovat, zda existují nějaká ?pravidla? a nebo alespoň tendence, kdy je vhodné film uvést do kin a zda se tyto tendence nějak v průběhu let mění. V další části uvádím případovou studii rozhodování producenta při uvedení filmu František je děvkař do kinodistribuce. V poslední části se zamýšlím nad budoucím vývojem a stanovuji závěry ze své práce. This master thesis focuses on an analysis of the fundamental factors which producers must consider when releasing a film into theaters. In the paper?s first part, I describe the thesis?s starting point, summarize the current state of cinematic distribution in the Czech Republic, and describe how we arrived at this state. In the second part, I look at the actual decisions made by a producer when releasing a film into cinematic distribution. Here, I use the available data to try to determine above all whether there exist any ?rules? or at least trends as to when is the best time for a movie?s cinematic release and whether these trends have in some way changed over the years. In the next part, I describe a case study of a producer?s decision-making process, based on the cinematic distribution of the film František je děvkař (Frankie is a Womanizer). In the paper?s final part, I consider future developments and summarize my conclusions.
