ABS a ESP.
Vehicles are already equipped with a range of sensors that allow the dynamic state of the vehicle to be evaluated. However, this measured data can be supplemented with estimated channels that can be used in vehicle telemetry, in the development and operation of advanced driver assistance systems or even for less advanced control algorithms such as ABS and ESP. This dissertation focuses on the estimation of parameter that cannot be measured while driving, using machine learning technology. The advantage of this approach will be to enable the retrieval of the trajectories of selected variables that are relevant to the vehicle dynamics, even with the help of affordable inertial measurement units. The results are obtained by means of available experiments on a real vehicle. The application of this method is envisaged in the extension of the methodology for testing a large number of vehicles.
