cze Abstract:
The study of the water regime focuses on the ČSOP ‘Sedmihorské mokřady’ Nature Reserve in the floodplain of the Libuňka stream, in the cadastral area of Karlovice (Semily district). The western part of the fen underwent a major revitalisation and restoration of its water regime in 2021–22, during which both surface and underground drainage systems were decommissioned across an area of approximately 6 ha.\nThe aim of the study is 1./ to define changes in the water regime following the completion of the restoration, including determining the volume of water accumulated in the restored western part of the wetlands as a result of the restoration carried out in 2021–22, 2./ to gather information on the main source of water in the area – the spring area in the central part of the site; and 3./ to assess the current water regime in the eastern part of the site, where no alterations have been made to the drainage systems, in comparison with the western part.
