Diplomová práce se zabývá významem nutriční bariatrické ambulance jako součásti komplexní péče o pacienty podstupující metabolicko-bariatrický výkon. Teoretická část shrnuje současné poznatky o obezitě jako chronickém multifaktoriálním onemocnění, jejích hlavních komplikacích, možnostech léčby a principech metabolicko-bariatrické chirurgie. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována roli nutričního terapeuta v předoperační přípravě, časné pooperační péči a dlouhodobém sledování pacientů po výkonu. Praktická část je koncipována jako observační, neintervenční sledování realizované v Obezitologickém centru Fakultní nemocnice Královské Vinohrady. Do souboru bylo zařazeno 7 pacientů sledovaných v předoperačním období a následně 1 a 3 měsíce po bariatrickém výkonu. Hodnocen byl vývoj tělesné hmotnosti, příjem bílkovin, tolerance režimu, pohybová aktivita, tělesné složení a laboratorní nutriční parametry. Ve sledovaném souboru byl u všech pacientů zaznamenán pokles tělesné hmotnosti, pooperační vývoj však byl individuálně rozdílný. V časném pooperačním období se jako klinicky významné ukázaly zejména tolerance stravy a velikosti porcí, schopnost postupně navyšovat příjem bílkovin do doporučeného množství, dostatečný pitný režim a vývoj tělesného složení. This thesis focuses on the importance of a bariatric nutrition outpatient clinic as part of comprehensive care for patients undergoing metabolic and bariatric surgery. The theoretical part summarizes current knowledge on obesity as a chronic multifactorial disease, its major complications, treatment options, and the principles of metabolic and bariatric surgery. Special attention is given to the role of the dietitian in preoperative preparation, early postoperative care, and long-term follow-up of patients after surgery. The practical part is designed as an observational, non-interventional study conducted at the Obesity Centre of Královské Vinohrady University Hospital. The study group included seven patients monitored during the preoperative period and subsequently at 1 and 3 months after bariatric surgery. The assessed parameters included changes in body weight, protein intake, tolerance of the postoperative regimen, physical activity, body composition, and laboratory nutritional markers. A decrease in body weight was observed in all patients in the study group; however, postoperative development varied individually.
