The bachelor's thesis examines the relationship between individuals' housing circumstances and the perceived growth of wealth inequalities among young people aged 18 to 35 in four major cities of the Czech Republic. To connect these concepts, two distinct theoretical frameworks were used, specifically social comparison theory and asset-based welfare. Based on these frameworks, mechanisms were identified through which individuals' housing circumstances may influence their perception of growing wealth inequalities. Using these mechanisms, hypotheses were formulated and subsequently tested through bivariate analyses and binary logistic models. The results of the analysis demonstrated only a limited statistically significant relationship between housing circumstances and the perception of growing wealth inequalities over time. It can therefore be concluded that individuals' housing circumstances do not play a major role in shaping the perception of increasing wealth inequalities among young people living in large Czech cities. Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá vzťahom medzi bytovou situáciou jednotlivcov a vnímaným rastom majetkových nerovností medzi mladými ľuďmi vo veku 18 až 35 rokov v 4 veľkých mestách Českej republiky. Na prepojenie týchto konceptov boli využité dve odlišné teoretické východiská, a to konkrétne social comparison theory a asset-based welfare. Na základe týchto východísk boli identifikované mechanizmy, prostredníctvom ktorých môže bytová situácia jednotlivcov ovplyvňovať vnímanie rastu majetkových nerovností. S využitím týchto mechanizmov boli formulované hypotézy, ktoré boli následne testované pomocou bivariačných analýz a binárnych logistických modelov. Výsledky analýzy preukázali len limitovanú štatisticky významnú súvislosť medzi bytovou situáciou a vnímaním rastu majetkových nerovností v čase. Je tak možné konštatovať, že bytová situácia jednotlivcov nehrá veľkú rolu pri formovaní vnímania rastu majetkových nerovností v skúmanej populácii mladých ľudí vo veľkých českých mestách.
