Česká interrupční legislativa je stabilní od 80. let. Elektivní interrupci dlouhodobě podporuje většina populace. Kampaň Interrupce do ústavy usiluje o ochranu interrupcí pomocí jejich zakotvení v Listině základních práv a svobod. Tato diplomová práce zkoumá faktory ovlivňující liberálnost postojů k interrupční politice na vzorku české společnosti. Zaměřuje se na roli vědomostí a na podporu ústavního ukotvení interrupcí. Zahraniční literatura spojuje vyšší vědomosti s liberálnějšími postoji k interrupční politice. Nezkoumá již však samostatnou podporu ústavní kodifikace ani skupinu, která elektivní interrupci podporuje, ale ústavní zakotvení odmítá. Pro účely práce byl vytvořen vlastní dotazník. Dosažený vzorek (N = 892) je silně vychýlený k mladším vzdělaným ženám; vážení podle pohlaví, věku a vzdělání sloužilo jen pro deskriptivní srovnání. Inferenční statistika probíhala na neváženém vzorku. Vzdělání v plném regresním modelu ztrácí signifikanci. Nejsilnějšími prediktory liberálnosti zůstávají religiozita, věk a pohlaví. Vědomosti vysvětlují malou část variability a jednotlivé složky působí protichůdně: obecné znalosti o interrupcích pozitivně, ústavně-právní negativně. Analogicky má skupina liberální opozice vůči ústavnímu ukotvení nižší obecné znalosti a vyšší ústavně-právní. Tato skupina je tvořena... Abortion legislation in the Czech Republic has remained stable since the 1980s. Elective abortion has long been supported by the majority of the population. The Abortion into the Constitution campaign seeks to protect abortion rights by enshrining them in the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms. This thesis examines the factors influencing liberal attitudes toward abortion policy among a sample of Czech society. It focuses on the role of knowledge and on support for the constitutional enshrinement of abortion. Foreign literature links greater knowledge with more liberal attitudes toward abortion policy. However, it does not examine support for constitutional codification in isolation, nor does it examine the group that supports elective abortion but rejects its constitutional enshrinement. A custom questionnaire was developed for the purposes of this study. The resulting sample (N = 892) is heavily skewed toward younger, educated women; weighting by gender, age, and education was used only for descriptive comparisons. Inferential statistics were performed on the unweighted sample. Education loses significance in the full regression model. The strongest predictors of liberalism remain religiosity, age, and gender.
