Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou edukace rodičů předčasně narozeného novorozence vyžadujícího oxygenoterapii. Jejím cílem bylo zmapovat úroveň informovanosti rodičů o oxygenoterapii, identifikovat jejich edukační potřeby a na základě získaných poznatků vytvořit edukační materiál určený této skupině rodičů. V teoretické části je vymezen obor neonatologie a jeho historický vývoj, dále je popsána problematika předčasně narozeného novorozence, znaky nezralosti a nejčastější respirační komplikace spojené s nezralostí. Samostatná kapitola je věnována oxygenoterapii v neonatologii, jejím indikacím, způsobům podávání kyslíku, monitoraci a možným komplikacím. Závěrečná část teoretického bloku se zaměřuje na význam edukace v ošetřovatelství, roli sestry v edukaci rodičů a specifika psychické zátěže rodičů předčasně narozených dětí. Praktická část je založena na kvantitativním výzkumu formou elektronického dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo mezi rodiči předčasně narozených novorozenců, jejichž dítě vyžadovalo během hospitalizace oxygenoterapii. Dotazník vyplnilo celkem 291 respondentů. Výsledky ukazují, že většina rodičů obdržela srozumitelné vysvětlení důvodů zahájení oxygenoterapie i jejího přínosu, avšak výrazně nižší informovanost byla zjištěna v oblasti možných rizik a komplikací léčby.... This bachelor's thesis addresses the topic of parental education for parents of preterm newborns requiring oxygen therapy. Its primary objective was to assess the level of parental awareness regarding oxygen therapy, identify their educational needs, and, based on the findings, develop an educational material designed for this group of parents. The theoretical part defines the field of neonatology and outlines its historical development. It further describes issues related to preterm newborns, signs of prematurity, and the most common respiratory complications associated with prematurity. A separate chapter is dedicated to oxygen therapy in neonatology, including its indications, methods of administration, monitoring, and possible complications. The final section of the theoretical part focuses on the importance of education in nursing, the role of nurses in parental education, and the specific psychological burden experienced by parents of preterm infants. The practical part is based on quantitative research conducted through an electronic questionnaire among parents of preterm newborns who required oxygen therapy during hospitalization.
