Disertační práce se věnuje komplexnímu zpracování života a zmapování díla Kamila Voborského (1883-1949) - varhaníka, skladatele, pedagoga, sbormistra a kulturní osobnosti spojené především s městem Jindřichův Hradec. Cílem práce je rekonstruovat jeho profesní a umělecký profil v kontextu vývoje české hudební kultury první poloviny 20. století, přičemž důraz je kladen na propojení biografických údajů s pedagogickými a kulturními souvislostmi. V úvodních kapitolách je popsán Voborského život, vzdělání a působení v oblasti školství, chrámové hudby a regionální kultury. Autor čerpal z bohatého souboru primárních pramenů - osobní pozůstalosti, archivních dokumentů, korespondence a dobového tisku. Následující část práce se zaměřuje na Voborského skladatelské dílo, zejména na duchovní hudbu a liturgické kompozice (ordinaria missae). Vybrané skladby jsou podrobeny hudebněanalytické interpretaci z hlediska jejich formální struktury a hudebního obsahu s myšlenkou na praktické využití jejich pedagogického potenciálu. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována Voborského pedagogické činnosti, která byla významnou součástí jeho profesní identity. Práce sleduje nejen jeho výuku na školách a soukromou, ale i jeho působení jako sbormistra a organizátora hudebního života ve městě. Autor rozvíjí myšlenku "učitele-hudebníka"... The dissertation comprehensively maps the life and work of Kamil Voborský (1883-1949) - organist, composer, teacher, choirmaster and cultural personage associated primarily with the town of Jindřichův Hradec. The aim of the thesis is to reconstruct his professional and artistic profile in the context of the development of Czech musical culture in the first half of the 20th century, while stressing the links of his biographical data with the educational and cultural contexts. The opening chapters describe Voborský's life, education and work in the fields of education, church music and regional culture. The author of the paper used a variety of primary sources - personal estates, archival documents, correspondence and period press. The section that comes after that focuses on Voborský's compositional work, especially sacred music and liturgical compositions (ordinaria missae). Selected compositions are interpreted using the instruments of musical analysis in terms of their formal structure and musical content with a view to the practical use of their educational potential. Special attention is dedicated to Voborský's educational activities, which were an important part of his professional identity. The paper examines not only his teaching at schools and privately, but also his work as a choirmaster...
