cze Abstract:
Práce dále analyzuje různé způsoby sekularizačních procesů v Turecku, Egyptě, Sýrii a Íránu. Metodologicky je práce založena na literární analýze odborných textů a srovnávacím přístupu. Hlavní část je věnována Sorúšově koncepci sekularismu, náboženské demokracie a kritice teokratického modelu vlády. Výsledkem zjištění je, že Sorúšovo pojetí sekularismu a náboženské demokracie představuje vnitřní sebereflexi islámu, která usiluje o de-ideologizaci víry a ochranu náboženství před jeho politickým zneužitím.7 Abstract The thesis explores the relationship between secularism, secularization, and Islamic tradition, with a particular focus on the thought of the Iranian reformist intellectual Abdolkarim Soroush. The introductory part outlines the development of the concept of secularization and its interpretation through selected authors such as Karl Marx, Peter L. Berger, and Tomáš Halík, thus providing a theoretical framework for possible comparison with the Islamic context. The thesis further analyses different pathways of secularization in Turkey, Egypt, Syria, and Iran. Methodologically, it is based on literary analysis of scholarly texts and a comparative approach. The main section focuses on Soroush's concept of secularism, religious democracy, and his critique of the theocratic model of governance. The findings show that Soroush's approach to secularism and religious democracy represents an example of Islam's internal self-reflection, aiming at the de-ideologization of faith and the protection of religion from its political misuse.
