Název: Rozvoj baseballu pro zrakově postižené v České republice. Úvod: Bakalářská práce se zabývá rozvojem blind baseballu jako nové sportovní disciplíny pro osoby se zrakovým postižením v České republice. Cíl: Cílem je zdokumentovat založení blind baseballového týmu v České republice a jeho následný rozvoj. Tým vznikl pod hlavičkou České baseballové asociace. Práce analyzuje, jak účast hráčů a trenérů na Mistrovství Evropy v blind baseballu 2025 ovlivnila jejich vnímání bariér a facilitátorů. Výsledky výzkumu mohou pomoci při dalším rozvoji blind baseballu v České republice. Metody: Praktická část má charakter smíšeného výzkumného designu (mixed methods), který kombinuje kvalitativní a kvantitativní přístup. Kvalitativní část je realizována formou případové studie projektu Blind Baseball Czech, která vychází ze zúčastněného pozorování. Mapuje první ukázkový trénink, blind baseballovou kliniku, cestu na mistrovství Evropy a další důležité milníky projektu. Výzkumný soubor kvantitativního výzkumu tvoří 12 účastníků (7 hráčů a 5 členů realizačního týmu) české reprezentace na Mistrovství Evropy v blind baseballu 2025. Data byla sbírána pomocí anonymního dotazníkového šetření realizovaného před turnajem a po jeho ukončení. V dotazníku vlastní konstrukce byla použita čtyřbodová Likertova škála, doplněná... Background: This bachelor's thesis addresses the development of blind baseball as a new sport discipline for people with a visual impairment in the Czech Republic. Aim: The aim is to document the establishment of a blind baseball team in the Czech Republic and its subsequent development. The team was established under the auspices of the Czech Baseball Association. The thesis analyzes how the team's participation in the European Blind Baseball Championship 2025 shaped players' and coaches' perceptions of barriers and facilitators. The research results may help in the further development of blind baseball in the Czech Republic. Methods: Mixed methods were used for the practical part with a pretest-posttest design that combine a qualitative and quantitative approach. The qualitative part is carried out as a case study of the Blind Baseball Czech project with participant observation. It surveys the first practice demonstration, a blind baseball clinic, the journey to the European Championship, and other important milestones of the project.
