Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou dobových recenzí filmů Sedmikrásky od Věry Chytilové, Žert od Jaromila Jireše, O slavnosti a hostech od Jana Němce, Hoří, má panenko od Miloše Formana a Farářův konec od Evalda Schorma. Cílem bylo zjistit, jestli se odrazila tehdejší vysoce proměnlivá politická situace na vnímání a kritice těchto filmů ze strany filmových novinářů. Zkoumaným materiálem byly dobové články z filmových a kulturních periodik a následně recenze, které vyšly v 90. letech po znovuuvedení filmů. Výsledkem bylo zjištění, že vliv tehdejší ideologie na kritiku filmu existoval. Důležitým faktorem tohoto vlivu byla doba vzniku snímku a také jak moc otevřeně a kriticky se film stavěl k dobovým politickým a společenským tématům. Bylo zjištěno, že recenze samotné nebyly ovlivněny ze strany režimu, ale záleželo na jednotlivých novinářích a jejich politické participaci. Přesto, že nebyli novináři ovlivňováni, tak cenzurní moc stále zasahovala a omezovala jak samotné recenze skrze kontrolu a jiné cenzurní nástroje, tak i filmaře při výrobě a distribuci těchto snímků. Od 90. let se na snímky nahlíží jako na hodnotné nejen pro svoje umělecké kvality, ale i pro těžkost období, ve kterém vznikaly. This bachelor's thesis analyzes contemporary reviews of the films Sedmikrásky by Věra Chytilová, Žert by Jaromil Jireš, O slavnosti a hostech by Jan Němec, Hoří, má panenko by Miloš Forman, and Farářův konec by Evald Schorm. The aim was to determine whether the highly volatile political situation of the time was reflected in film journalists' perceptions and critiques of these films. The research material consisted of contemporary articles from film and cultural periodicals, as well as reviews published in the 1990s following the re-release of the films. The findings revealed that the ideology of the time did influence film criticism. An important factor in this influence was the time of the film's production, as well as how openly and critically the film addressed contemporary political and social issues. It was found that the reviews themselves were not influenced by the regime, but depended on individual journalists and their political involvement. Although the journalists were not influenced, the censorship authorities still intervened and restricted both the reviews themselves through monitoring and other censorship tools, as well as the filmmakers during the production and distribution of these films.
