cze Abstract:
Klíčová slova: organická syntéza, kurkumin, asymetrické kurkuminoidy, NMR.The topic of this bachelor's thesis was the synthesis of an asymmetric monocarbonyl curcumin analogue bearing a carboxyl group, which could be used in future work as a building block for the preparation of theranostic agents. Two synthetic strategies were experimentally verified. The first strategy, based on selective monocondensation of cyclohexanone with vanillin, did not provide sufficient yields to continue with the synthesis. The second strategy, starting from the symmetrical bisarylidene intermediate BHMC and proceeding through monoalkylation and hydrolysis, led to successful preparation of the target compound. The obtained compound represents a building block for further work in the development of curcuminoid-based theranostic molecules. Keywords: organic synthesis, curcumin, asymmetric curcuminoids, NMR.
