The topic of this bachelor's thesis is Christmas trees and various aspects of their life. In the theoretical part the work, as presented in professional or Internet sources deals primarily with the history of the Christmas tree and the concept of tree worship as such. The work will then bring to light the birth and popularization of this now indispensable Christmas holiday custom. It also describes the process and specifics of growing Christmas trees on plantations, the species that are most suitable for growing, what the grower has to deal with, or what activities he or she does in his or her work. In the theoretical part, the bachelor's thesis will also clarify the genre of the practical part, which is radio editing, and also the process of how the recording was created. The recording itself is 29 minutes long radio montage and contains interviews about growing trees and their histories. The final chapter is a report directly from a tree shop. Témou tejto bakalárskej práce sú vianočné stromčeky a rôzne aspekty z ich života, V teoretickej časti sa práca, tak, ako to predstavujú odborné, či internetové zdrojoch, zaoberá v prvom rade históriou vianočného stromčeka a konceptu uctievania stromov ako takých tak, Práca následne priblíži zrod a popularizáciu tohoto dnes už neodmysliteľného zvyku vianočných sviatkov. Taktiež opisuje proces a špecifiká pestovania vianočných stromčekov na plantážach, druhy, ktoré sú na pestovanie najvhodnejšie, s čím sa musí pestovateľ popasovať, alebo akým činnostiam sa venuje vo svojej práci. V teoretickej časti ešte objasní bakalárska práca žáner praktickej časti, ktorým je rozhlasová montáž a tiež proces, ako vznikala nahrávka. Samotná nahrávka je rozhlasovou montážou dlhou 29 minút a jej obsahom sú rozhovory o pestovaní stromčekov a ich histórií. Záverečnou kapitolou je reportáž priamo z predajne stromčekov.
